Copper Enhanced 1.7.7.1 and Stone Enhanced 1.0.1 released...

    This is the first in the series of updates for the 4.0.7.0 patch.

    - ContainerWindow.XML has been updated to work with the new system and retain formatting

    - Mobile Health Bars have been updated to revert back to their normal C-E and S-E looks. Unfortunately, this loses (for now) the Hits % display on the health bars, however it is still present on the TargetWindow.

    - Fonts folder has been added as well as a selection of fonts for back end support for font customization. If you want to play with this, open the Fonts.XML file in the Fonts folder and take note of the name="xxxxx" of the desired font and size. Then simply find the Label, etc you wish to change in the various XML files. They will appear as the following:

    <Label name="$parentName" sticky="false" font="xxxxx".....

    Replace the xxxxx in this line with the font name of the one you wish to try, save the file and reload the UI. This is how you can "hardcode different fonts into the UI until a customizer mod is released.

    Because this REMOVES a certain file to work, be certain to REMOVE the Copper Enhanced and Stone Enhanced folders before installing the new versions.

    More updates to come, but I wanted to get something out that fixed a few quick and annoying problems.

    I installed these and still can't drag off mobile health bars.

    Any ideas?

    There is a conflict now with the skin option to open paperdoll and skill tracker on log in. When the options are checked it will be doing always the opposit when the last settings where. I think its because the EC client has his own open paperdoll and skill tracker build in. The backpack option can still be turned on.

    If you keep the option unchecked and log out with paperdoll open and skill tracker open. They still be open when logging back in.



    For some reason the skill tracker appear in the top left corner of the screen the first time you log in .

    not sure what my problem is but in stone i can not manually take a item such as a shield or spellbook or cloak remove it and re- put it on. in order to maually arm had to log into either cooper or default and both worked so i have no clue what doing wrong help. anyone else having this in stone

    From going back and forth on the skins, I've noticed some buff icons not showing up if I have skins on.
    Can't see the "flying" icon for gargs. Can't see the "accelerated skill gain" icon when doing the newbie new haven quests.

    Stone form does not show up on the buffs either.

    Stone skin won't allow me to dress my vendor paperdoll. C_E works fine.

    Thanks for all your hard work Dermott. Those developers like to keep modders like you on your toes, and I for one appreciate how quickly you got these new versions out. Bravo!

    Thanks everyone for the input, also realize that this was a quickie "let's get some of the obvious stuff fixed and available ASAP" type of release. I'd be a bit hypocritical in being on the boards calling for smaller, more frequent patches and then turning around and holding off on a new x-Enhanced release until we piled in EVERYTHING we could.

    So I expected more problems to be found. I'll freely admit that I don;t think of every possible UI function to test and make sure it's up to snuff, so any direction given (like buffs above and paperdoll issues) are appreciated.

    Just a bit of help for me, try doing the same thing in both Enhanced skins as well as the Default UI so we can determine "is it a C-E problem, an S-E problem, a problem with both UIs, or is it a global issue?".

    - Stone Enhanced Paperdoll issues: Delete the PaperdollWindow.XML file for now. Once I figure out the right font/color combo to work with the skin I'll put a new one in its place.

    - Startup opening conflict: Delete the Open on Startup mod folder

    The resizeable packs are nice... Can the right side be made more slender? (lots of extra gump before the scroll bar)

    I'm looking into that... mainly I want to center the scroll bar a bit better... it comes off as cramped against the grid to me.

    I deleted my old CE version and installed the latest. Noticed that the item property evaluator mod doesn't seem to be working, but I see the mod in the CE 1.7.7.1 directory. Anything I need to do to activate it?

    There are a few settings in the "Tooltips" tab in the settings window.

    Dermott,

    I noticed something yesterday while using the latest version of CE. I have the options checked to open the paperdoll and backpack at login. The backpack opens just fine, but the paperdoll will appear momentarily and then close. Any idea why this might be happening?

    Happens to me too. Without the skin, EA/M made it so that the client remembers the last state of your paperdoll, skill tracker, & pack (like 2d does). So we don't really need the startup option anymore.
    Apparently, the skin is kinda broken now and the paperdoll does opposite of what you want. If you uncheck the paperdoll startup box, then you would be fine. But, you still need check for the backpack, cause that is borked.
    Give them time, it will be fixed.

    Uncheck the paperdoll and tracker option. If you keep paperdoll open and tracker. It will still be open when you log back in. There is right now a conflict between the EC client open paperoll option and the skin one. If you have the option checked in the skin it will always reverse the last setting the paperdoll or tracker was set too when logged out.

    EA made it so that the client would remember the state of your paperdoll, skill tracker, and backpack, and our mod actually toggles the state because we act under the assumption that they will never be open. Since our mod no longer does anything that the client doesn't already do, it will be deleted soon (unless we come up with some gumps that should have a different state on startup that EA didn't change).

    There are going to be some more font changes in the next update (I don't want to reveal anything yet, but so far, things are looking awesome for it) as well as a couple of removals, so everyone should probably make it a habit when updating a UI package to DELETE THE OLD PACKAGE FIRST in order to prevent conflicts from older, removed files.
