Cornucopia = Crate Stealing Nerf, or, Crate Stealing needs some Love!

    (I'm thinking of perhaps posting on uhall about this, but I thought I'd start here!)

    Basically all the nice stealable food you could get from provisioner's is now pointless to steal, as nearly everyone has about 10 Cornucopias.
    The food stealables I haven't seen (so far) are :

    • Dates (Though I thought I heard you can't steal these? Or get via any means other than begging (with tag) now?)
    • Coconut with milk dripping out
    • Bunch of bananas
    erm... and that's it maybe?

    Plus, it would be nice if they would perhaps reinvigorate the whole crate stealing thing. Containers in NPC locations in Malas/Tokuno/Ter Mur etc.

    Without it stealing is a bit pointless until you 120 it. And I think it's kinda fun too :)

    yes, if your options are set to 'full wysiwyg editing'. In user CP, edit options, scroll right to the bottom. Then if you click just past the title in the forum listing, you should get an editable box.

    I got a split coconut, a slab of bacon and some other foods that are obtainable via NPCs or farms.

    I hadn't noticed a huge market for these things and I don't often see them used in decorations, except by those who are very dedicated. I suppose with SA crate thieves got another boost and this is the trade-off. I'm not sure that these cornucopia take too much away. If anything more people will use the deco items now which I suppose is a good thing overall.

    Deary me that took a good few tries to click in the right spot! Thanks though Petra, muchly appreciated!


    Now back to the crate stealing...

    I'm not too fussed about the food items, it's just crate thievery to me always seems a bit of a pitiful (ie. looked down upon by those with more ego than empathy) and neglected area of the game, and this makes it even more so!

    The NPC shop stealables just seem to add a little depth to the towns.

    And as I kind of pointed out earlier, the crate stealables offer something to a newbie thief in training. It's not like there's anything in haven, you can't steal artifacts til you get to at least 100, and dungeon chests are rather pointless at the moment too!

    (Really I think I wish they would do a revampl of all the area's without proper NPC containers... Tokuno/Malas/Ilsh, some of the random spots in the wilderness, etc.. and also I suppose loot balancing in dungeon chests!)


    What's this about new SA crate stealables though? Or are you referring to the spawn timed artifact stealables?
