[Inscription] crafting spellbooks worth it? What's worth saving?

I recently got a craving to do a bunch of spellbooks(some to fill out my collection, some to sell)

I'm curious if any super slayers are worth selling? (I'm on Pac if that means anything)

Also, are there any spellbooks crafted I should consider saving? So far, I'm mainly saving MR1, int 5+, mana 6 books.

Lastly, are any of the super slayers harder to get than others? On this latest binge, I've gotten mostly demon slayers but no repond(out of close to 20 crafted) :coco:

On Atlantic super slayers sell for 100's of k gold. Ones with good mods for more.

LRC used to be good but now that spell books can be disarmed in pvp, not so sure.

Spell books with skill mods can be just what a person is looking for to complete a template, so they can be more valuable.

If your looking for something more valuable try crafting Scrappers. Super slayer Scrappers sell for millions.

So if your looking to make a bit of gold... IMHO it is worth it.

Out of 20 spellbooks crafted? It is all so random. You can go thousands of scrolls sometimes without a descent slayer. 120 Magery and what not supposedly helps. I say supposedly because everyone's results differ.

Undead is somewhat difficult. An Elemental Slayer...i.e. just super elemental slayer is very difficult from my experience. I've gotten 2 in about 5 years of doing inscription. THAT is a lot of scrolls. I always do at least 400 scrolls whenever I craft books. No point doing a couple.

Triple stat ones are nice to have. Magery + 15, Intel + 10, and Resist spells + 7 just as an example.

Now as far as supersavers worth saving? IN my opinion? You should have 1 of every single kind. It maximizes your own efficiency as a mage.

For me I have undead, demon, respond, elemental, reptile and arachnid slayer on me at all times. Yes I carry AT LEAST 6 spellbooks on me at all times.

With uo assist you can macro in 4 spellbooks ostensibly. As far as disarm spellbook is concerned, waste of time.

I can just rearm a different spellbook and go about my business. Reason why from my experience, can rearm something else faster than what you were holding.

That said, I don't rely on LRC spellbooks. Those I sell.

I would say once you get that collection of 6, you can pretty much sell any other super slayers you make from that point forward. One is enough really of each.

Only reason I keep 2 elemental slayers...so difficult to make. 2 Made in my whole career.

I would say that's a pretty good point. I myself have mixed results with having other mods on super slayers. That said, the mods when I do receive them are nothing special. FC1 on a Reptile Slayer or Eval +10 on a Demon Slayer. Eval I might have liked but mute point when you already have 120 Eval.
