Damage Range Bug

    For years this has been bugging me.

    On every warrior type character while in combat, the damage range changes. For example on TC I created a LJ warrior. 133 STR, 120 swords, 120 Tactics, 120 Anat, 100 LJ with ornate with new damage range from 17-20 with 90 DI.

    Damage range in the status bar would jump back and forth between 69-82 and 81-96.

    Why does this jump around?

    it is doing that because of your lumerback i think, don't quote me on that though

    Nah, happens on every warrior type I ever used for some time now. Just used the stats on TC since I had them jotted down.

    i've seen what ur talking about in testing too and figured out why it was doing that, and now i cant fricken remember why lol

    I'm assuming its because LJ adds a passive damage bonus, but when its critting it adds an additional bonus which may cause your weapon damage to update.
    Also for special abilities which offer damage bonuses they may cause your on char damage to flicker if you watch it as it hits, so basically reflecting the bonus you had for that hit.

    No this happens even without LJ. There is however information on uoguide.com that says if you have high anat you have a chance of getting a critical hit (More damage), but that was the first time I have heard of such a thing.

    I dunno about the anatomy stuff, but rolling a crit could explain that damage fluctuation on your character.
