    I was going to post this in the Off Topic forum, but I wanted to be sure UO's players saw it, so I figured I'd post here. I apologize if this is the wrong forum for it.

    Demon's Souls is a PS3 game that came out like 2 years ago, and it has the most amazing PvP ever. It is basically a single player game, but with multiplayer aspects. When you die, you lose your body and go into soul form. While in soul form, you are at a handicap due to your max health missing a chunk out of it. In order to revive, you can defeat a boss in your own world (game), get summoned into another player's game and defeat a boss with them in their world, or invade someone's game to hunt them down and kill them.

    In the higher levels, it becomes all about PvP. People duel all the time. However, if you're invading, don't be surprised if you get ganked by a host and 1 or 2 summoned players (UO PvPers should be used to this anyway, lol).

    I just thought this game would interest UO's players. It is only for PS3. However, its successor (same aspects, but not technically a sequel), Dark Souls, releases for both PS3 and 360 in October. There are some E3 videos of Dark Souls you can find.

    Here is a good invasion PvP battle you can check out (3 on 1 gank gone wrong, lol):

    I suggest those of you with PS3's go pick this up and give it a try. Who knows, we might meet up and fight one day, haha.
  2. well, one GOOD thing I suppose

    while an interesting take to provide full on :twak:PvP

    watching your supplied reference ... looked more like an entry level training camp for Reavers

    Mind ya, I ain't no hand wringing milk-sop crying for merciful "constructive" Game play ... a bit of the mindless violence with plenty of bloody noses and few broken bones are a mainstay in the raising of a Dhream ... for the ladies too ladies .. no means no and each dhream is trained to enforce that.

    :twak:stop means :twak:stop:twak:that:twak: now:twak::twak::twak:

    got it?

    Apparently the company already has too

    Full on PvP is FINE! go for it ...
    go too far though and ... well ... UO has an empty Fel to show where combat without honor or purpose leads.
