I have been hunting lately, but I'm not sure what are the most desirable item properties at the moment so that I can sell the stuff.

I know that the following are good:
    • SSI
    • HLL
    • HML
    • Luck
Any particular other properties I should be looking out for? Also what combinations of properties are interesting?

    Thanks.

On jewels things like SSI, Stamina increase. These can't be imbued so they can command a high value.

Also overcapped values like 20 HCI and DCI. Pretty much there are 2 types of items people want. 1) single mid items which have room for imbuing; 2) totally maxed out items with eye watering numbers of mods at neared intensity. Cursed is an item killer. Brittle and prized are fine. The jury is still out on antique, but I think it will be ok for many uses.

    Thanks for the comments.

I had some trouble finding out what prized or antique is on the UOGuide. Any pages here with that info as well?

I see people are saying brittle is ok now as it drops with 255/255 durability but my question is, does it ware down faster due to it being "brittle"? It makes me think about the mana phase orbs.

Has there been any official word on this?

All magical items (weapons, armor, and jewelry) will now spawn with properties generated via new loot property generation. These include items found,

    • On Monsters
    • In SoS Chests
    • In Treasure Chests
    • In Dungeon Chests
    • In Khaldun Puzzle Chests
    • In Paragon Chests
    • From Dredging Hooks
    • From Quest rewards
    • Loot obtained from monsters, SoS Chests, Treasure Chests, Dredging Hooks, and as Quest Rewards will be influenced by the luck of the individual getting the loot.
    • Loot obtained from Dungeon Chests and Khaldun Puzzle Chests will have loot influenced with a random luck value between 0 and 240.
    • Loot generated in Felucca has a 1000 point luck bonus applied to it, as well as bonuses to budgets used in item property generation.
The following negative item properties can now be found on magic items:

Brittle – Cannot have powder of fortification applied to the item
Prized – Item insurance cost is increased, cannot be blessed
Massive – Increased strength requirement, indicated in the strength requirement item property
Unwieldy – Increased item weight, indicated in the weight item property
Cursed – Cannot be insured or blessed
Antique – Increased durability loss, can be powdered 3 times. Each powder will reduce max durability to 250, 200, and 150 respectively. Can be repaired.

    • Items spawned with the brittle property will have a default max durability of 255.
    • All items with the ephemeral property will be converted to antique.
    • Items will have at maximum 1 negative property applied to them.
    • Item insurance will now scale up based on item intensity.
    • Magical jewelry (rings and bracelets) will now have a default max durability of 255.
    • Additional monster loot items will be spawned based on party size and luck.

Lots of good info, thanks everyone.

I guess my best bet is to try and sell stuff here in the forum? I say that because I have no idea what the prices are at the moment.

For pvp (which translates to the highest market for these types of items) the mods people are looking for would be 10SSI jewelry that has no other mods or 1-2 mods that are useful; as in HCI DCI DI. etc

Splinter weapon over 10% seems to be effective. I would say for a pvper you want at least 20% but that depends on how nice the other mods are. As a splinter weapon you want it prized or no negative mods (brittle etc) because of the durability lose that comes with it. The brittle and antique splinter weapons work but it's not as good overall due to the fact that once it hits 0 durability you can't use it until you repair and can eventually break for good. A plain splinter weapon can be fort powdered making it more useful in the long run. (Sometime you just need to use your splinter weapon even tho it's beat up badly!)

Also I keep any legendary artifact items that are clean just because of the amount of mods. I believe legendary translates to 8-9 mods on a piece of armor. That's a big deal

Brittle seems to be almost the same as imbued

Antique breaks at least 3x faster then brittle and imbued. I've had to repair my VvV crimson 3 times already and my imbued suit is still over 100 durability and has been in use much longer. So to me antique is the worst "clean" mod.
