Ok, here is a clue for the dev team on events.... Putting monsters out with 50,000 hp that give one special item that can be 'jumped' at the last minute by someone with word of death is not the best idea for an event. I mean, its tedious, boring and leads to tons of greifing. There isn't one thing challenging about this event. I killed one Golem and was so bored by it - I haven't gone back. Here is how you should do events: 1 - Add varied levels of spawns (Remember the spawn with mystic weapons and Corporals, Leutenants and Generals? 100x better) 2 - Instead of random drops that favor kill jumpers and the like - make monsters easier to kill quickly so you can get solo kills in if you want - and give POINTS out for kills like the Ophid/Bane invasion. 3 - Make points redeemable for rewards. No killing 20 monsters to try to collect a set - kill for 20,000 points and trade points for a set. This would put everyone on equal footing, there would be no penalty for 'helping' each other and you could see ACTUAL progress to your goal. Instead you have people whinning at each other about kill stealing, and generally a non-event. Magencia is basically dead most of the day b/c people don't care about this event. A few people sit in boats and toss RC's and hide but other than that - its a non-event. Once again - Event FAIL.
