Devs - potential exploit in upcoming faction changes

Discussion in 'UHall' started by imported_Traveller, Apr 25, 2008.

  1. " * Faction size limit and load balancer removed: individual factions can grow to any size. Previously capped at 200.
    * Removed 30 day character age requirement
    * “Young” players cannot join factions
    * “Young” players will be removed from guilds that join factions
    * One vote in faction elections per account
    * Only one character per account may run in the elections"

Maybe I am dumb, but if the 30 day char age requiremtn is removed, is there any mechanic that stops people from creating bulkloads of trial accounts, renounce on young status on them, and using them to win faction elections hands down?

If I am not missing anything, it's imperative to allow no char/Account younger than 15 days into factions. Or no trial accounts.

I'm not sure about the suggestion of no trial accounts being allowed in factions, but I agree with the rest! I am also concerned that old ghost cam accounts could potentially be used for this very thing during the "Return to Britiannia" promotions.

I think the account should have to over 15 days, not the char.. Maybe limit the char age to 7 days about the same time to delete a newly made char. Trial accounts are 15 days if gotten from the web site.

How about making un paid accounts not allowed to vote, like they will not be allowed to place houses?
