    Hi all :)

    "Japanese" is one of the difficult language in the world.
    I think translate effort is a big burden on the UO development team.

    So we want to hear the opinion of many more, I'm waiting for the post from everyone.

    世界的にみても「日本語」は最も難しい言語のひとつです。
    翻訳に労する知識や時間を考えると、UOの開発チームには大きな負担だと考えます。

    そこでもっと多くの意見を聞いてみたいので、皆さんからの投稿をお待ちしています。

    日本語は難しい言語なのかも知れませんが、英語が解らない日本人は多いです。
    商ベースとして日本人ユーザーを増やしたいのなら日本語化パッチは必要でしょう。
    ただ、無理やり日本語化しなくてもカタカナ表記で済むものもあるので、ローカライズについては「その国で住んでいる人」に聞いた方がいいと思います。

    日本公式(EAJ)ホームページについても更新が停止してから久しいですが、UOの日本サポートは終わってしまったのか?と再びプレイしようと思った人も戻って来なくなるのではないでしょうか?
    まして、新規に友達とかを誘いたくても誘えません。
    公式ホームページのバイリン化をすると言われていたが、いつになるか分りません。

    First person added to the team by Broadsword was Genji. Finding Japanese speaking team member was first priority. That shows importance?
    Maybe now ask Genji how goes Japanese translation of site?
