    I got to wondering, exactly how easy is it going to be to tell where your Gargoyle is flying?

    I mean, if your only just "hovering" over the ground, it wouldn't be hard, but I view that as kinda of lame and cheap. I'm hoping we'll get the actual ability to move vertically, but I cant really fathom how that would be possible without ALOT of confusion with a 2D client.

    Has this been discussed anywhere? Dev posts?

    I would assume it acts much as the same as how it does for the flying creatures that are already in the game.

    Not that this already causes a ton of confusion for pets, who promptly pathfind their way to the highest ground in the area (note that in UO, if the ground doesn't look flat, it isn't). They do this despite the fact that they could still hit the target by standing directly under it. Wish they'd fix it.
