Does the GameMaster Service still function ?

    I have opened up a Page about 11 hours ago and it is still pending.

    I have logged on and off during this time and the page looks still opened but no reply whatsoever from a Game Master.

    Is this normal or has been the Game Masters service not been working for some reasons ??

    I paged a gm to remove a bugged crate in my boat and they came and removed it in 15 minutes max. yes, it works when you have specific pages that they can respond too. X guy is speed hacking is not something they respond to. sorry.

    well according to the video, the dev team has nothing to do with the GMs... so what tree should people be barking up to get this resolved?...

    Gms are through EA, not mythic.

    And perhaps the problem popps is that you've been logging in and out through the 11 hours you claim?

    It's all in how you write the problem - You probably wrote in English, try in Farsi or one of the Indo-Aryan languages

    Does it matter to the paying customer who the Game Masters depend from ?

    I do not think so.

    What matters to the paying customer is, IMHO, that regardless from which branch or company it depends from, the customer service for the product they are paying for, would work.

    And since a disatisfied customer can mean loss of business, it would be, I imagine, in the best interest of all related to that given business, that the service worked in a satisfactory manner. Or so I would imagine.

    I logged on and off because my day did not allow me to do otherwise but the issue is that I feel that the problem I paged about is still unresolved.

    popps if u asked a question gm 's don't have the knowledge base too answer!
    if a problem stratics probably can answer!
    if a bug put in a report!!

    popps if u paged similar to the way you post, would probably make a gm quit!
    would have no option of giving a right answer!

    No **** popps. Others in this thread were talking about which tree to bark up since it was not mythic, that post right above mine, hence me saying that. Sorry, next time I will quote my response target so you wont go crazy.

    But anyways, perhaps the reason it took so long is because you kept logging in and out. Might have gotten a quicker response if you stay logged in. Sure you might not be able to but perhaps that's just the reason. Not much else to say.

    But as Petra said, why not ask us? Perhaps we can help better.

    depending on if they need you, I thought it didn't matter if logged in or not, same char or not. That's why accuracy in the initial message, is so important, so you can change toons and keep on playing, or eat dinner, or sleep, work, etc

    Absolutely, but the thing that I still feel the issue remaining unresolved after so many hours and, on top of it, my page still pending and no answer been given over now some 13+ hours, makes me wonder whether the service is actually currently working at all.

    Well, when I needed to log off and after time resuming my logging the first thing was to check the status of my help page and I can clearly see the option to "cancel" my page meaning to me that my page is still up there, pending, even after so many hours and several logs on and off.

    Whether right or wrong, my personal feeling is that my page was not even received by anyone or, I would imagine, in so many hours I would have seen something done about it or gotten a reply or my page getting closed outright without even letting me know anything about it.

    Yet, it is still there, pending, after some 13+ hours. Inexplicable to me.

    Why are you ignoring part of the posts especially the ones that asked you to explain your problem and maybe anybody on stratics could help you out?

    This is a fine example of what your posts could be considered trolling. Quit the complaining and email EA or call them. GM service has been crap for years. So explain your problem and maybe some of us can help you. If you still want to go on about EA service and argue with people then I suggest to stratics to ban you until you can comply with the rules instead of trolling.

    It's been said that service was down on a shard awhile back, but I think they didn't get the que thing either.
    Politely, if service is down over say, 10mins, i think it should show somewhere, or if working, should say. They used to do this for shards i think, just not for support.

    So when it breaks, there is no way to tell for sure? and no body to report it to either?
    bug report? they'd laugh and say infinite wait-time is Normal, or Not their dept.
    Maybe try looking into Other EA games w/ 'support' and see what They do?

    UO has the worst customer service by far in any online game in history, its amazingly horrible and its a shame because it was actually pretty good years ago, what annoys me more is when Cal, the producer of UO, says that isn't his department when we complain about customer service, well Cal do something about it i mean really, make it your department then and get to the bottom of why the customer service is horrible, why don't you guys just make a gm system like you do with EMs and hire players as GMs and have them help people, things would get done for sure, if you dev team people actually played the game you would know what we're talking about

    Sure it would be nice. But you really think Cal can do anything at all about it? You think EA would really let him take over CS from their own department after their department was cut repeatedly? I sincerely doubt it. Looking at the past EA wont let UO do anything more than it already does and they sure wont be giving their department anymore money to pay for more staff. And I sure as hell don't want them using their own team for CS as it would divert their own work for the game.

    Since you will not tell us the problem we can neither help you fix it nor help you re-word the page in a manner likely to achieve a positive response.
    This thread is therefore pointless.
