Im going to make a fencer for strictly pvp only.

Is poisoning that hard to train?
Ive heard that 80 poisoning is what is needed to deadly poison.
But will it poison deadly Everytime?
Or will I need 100 to DP every time.

    Is it really worth it?
I mean, i love playing DP fencer on test. but the endless pot chugging is rediculous
Do people just spam witht heir pots? Making the DP useless?
If so should I make a chiv fencer?
For the divine fury and concentrate weap..

I would prefer to do a Nox fencer, but if its only going to be a fly on a shoulder then Why bother amirite?

Poisoning is easy to work. At 80 you will DP the weapon every time, and when you use infectious strike it will DP your target every time, with an 80% chance to do Lethal Poison.

Yes people spam with their pots, but it also throws some off. You need something else up your sleeve than DP. Also, note that with a DP pot you get 12 poison charges per potion. Carry 12 DP pots on you and I highly doubt someone will carry 144 cure pots.

There are better templates than a Nox dexer.. but I have 80 poisoning on my swords/archer because it's a nice card to have in your back pocket when you see someone carrying a sheild and a weapon.

If you can fit it in, I would suggest having both chiv and poisoning, good support skills.

Can cure pots cure Lethal poison everytime? Or does it take a few chugs.

Depends, it can take a few chugs. Example: When I'm lethaled it takes at least 3 cures, but when I lethal someone else it takes one.

You could drop heal to 100, anat to 100, and take chiv to 60.

Anat does, but really with a Kryss you just need to get enough DI so that armor ignore does 35 damage.

You're not going to miss the dmg increase from 120 anat vs 100 anat using a low dmg weapon like a kryss.

Keep in mind that im going to be using a fork as a VERY reliable secondary, but as i think about it. Im really going only to use that to bleed and d arm

    That's funny...I thought R.G. did.

In sticking with the post, you can get away with 90 healing and 90 anatomy. It really depends on how you shape everything up so that you will deal enough damage. Can go 100 and 100, 90 and 120...it all depends on your setup and equipment.

I'm not sure how you classify fork as a reliable secondary...but, okay. Personally I vary my weapons and tactics. You do not want to become predictable. If you can't surprise someone...just keep your cool and capitalize. Whoever makes the first mistake usually dies first.

Any veteran PvPer will know what specials you are capable of based on whatever weapon you're holding. That's why I don't run around with anything as long as I'm in no danger. Takes only a split second to arm a weapon.

Very smart.... I myself have never played pvp dexxer on real shard, so i dont know all these dexxer tactics, only the tactics i use on test

    Forks,
    Stop bandies from healing.
    fizzle mages
    reliable..

Better is when i give resist or parrying? Without parrying I'm an easy target for the warriors. Without resit I would use much apples, remve curse and trapped boxes!!?? So isn't parr better than resist?

    ps. sry for my english.

Both are nice if you can manage it. Is a bit tricky depending on the template. You don't want to be so defensive that you have a weak offense.

I wanna mostly use it for the duels on an arena(for the rest have I a nice archer ;]) so i think that parr would be better, but I'm not confirmed. With resist it would be easier to play(must not use trapped boxes and not so much apples). Without resist it would be harder to play, but (i think :p)more effective.

ps. The trapped boxes from tinker or magic trapp :d?

Sory for refreshing this topic but I'm having dizziness :wall: with this template :D . I'm having 3 other ideas, but i don't know what's the best.
    1.
    120 fencing
    80 poisoning
    110 tactics
    90 healing
    100 anatomy
    75(65) chiv(?)
    60 medit
    100 parrying
cap: m&s glasses(?, i wanted it for hla from kryss)
    2.
    120 fencing
    80 poisoning
    100 tactics
    90 healing
    100 anatomy
    95 chiv(?)
    40 medit
    100 parrying
    cap: m&s...
With 95 chiv and good karma I can curing lethal pretty nice, I've a nice chance for holy light.
    3.
    120 fencing
    80 poisoning
    90 tactics
    90 healing
    90 anatomy
    60 chiv(?)
    120 resist
    100 parrying
    cap: spirit of the totem
other jevels with 25 skill points.

And what's the best build from these options? Rest of the set is the same in the 3 types :p. TIA!

  20. Why not:

    Chivalry 70
    Fencing 120
    Tactics 100
    Poisoning 80
    Ninjitsu 120
    Stealth 120
    Hiding 100

Human, FC4, as much HCI, DI, LMC, DCI, MR as possible.

Low Dex; high Str and Int.

Heal/cure/remove curse with FC4 Chiv' and potions. Carry trapped boxes for para.

    Get a 30 SSI, 50 HLD/Lightning Kryss.

Open with Focus Strike to lay down the HLD. Follow with Nox/AI/Death Strike combos.

If you work in +skill items (there are many for Stealth - including the new Cloak) you mgiht raise Chiv to 105 for Holy Light or go Elf and add Meditation for mana).

most dexxers these days just spam armor ignore and the occasional dp, oh dont forget the disarm with the warfork.... but ya they will spam armor ignore about 5 times and your usually dead by then, if not.. they will just spam it another 5 times then your dead, and yes most dexxers have enough mana to do it that many times...

i ran for a long time

    120 fencing
    120 parry
    120 tatics
    105 chiv
    120 med
    80 poisoning
    stats after items
    if i remember right
    90 dex
    120 str
    everything else int
(the rest i did in necro to run as a vampire but thats been taken out so i dont know spell weaving i guess doesnt realy matter it can be focus and be ok)
as far as a suit i was 40 lmc 45 hci 45 dci 4/6 casting and like 14 mr. I found there were several tatics that were quit effective. if you spam poison you will run them outa cures then they will run or die. I could spam about 9 ais without stoping. If running with a group noone will be upset when you disarm
i also ran a ubw bone harvy for para and mortal.
This was my first true pvp char somethings have changed main reason i stoped playing it was
    1. to lazy to farm karma esp as a red
    2. got tired of the war of attrision that always came with cures
    3. finaly learned to chug pots and gave up the mods of a shield (even though at 4/6 the mods on the shield can be quit handy)
    4. realy just stoped playing strait dexers for pvp now days my dexers in pvp are always something else along with it

was i able to kill ppl YES was it easy to learn ez to play YES did i have fun YES will i ever go back..... probly not

    120 fencing
    80 poison
    90 tactics
    105 chiv
    120 ninja
    100 hide
    120 resist

735 can get some skills from jewels etc... or just cut a lil but liek 5 from resist or 5 from ninja if u can't find a way... or if ur hardcore have no resist and carry a trapped box with u.
get something else maybe like spell weaving for pixies for more harrassment.

enough str for 120 hp (including items)
minimum dex (dun need dex for hybrid dp dexxers) ... ironic how i call them dexxers when they have no dex.. have like 10 + watever i get from equiptment
    max intel

    lots of mr lmc etc...

carry a bola around... dismount.. mount up while ur invis... HL spam, deadly poison, armour ignore spam deadly strike spam. :D

Also... use human form. So u can have jack of all trade comes in handy when u can track someone and deal 52 damage rather then 40 i believe.

You still CAN run a temp that will have this stuff minus except for what you stated...having to run necro. Is the same type of dexxer I have played for a long while.

Depends on what your purpose is. Should go 120 bushido if you do that route. I would frankly swap out the resist if you are going to be a PvP dexxer. Might as well just have meditation in one place and put bushido or chivalry in the other place. Or...adjust your numbers and bump resist up.

If going chivalry you will want to adjust your mana pool some. There are some slightly different styles to both. What do you want to achieve or do?

Is just one way you can roll with your template. I've run similar and different templates. They are all effective, yet involve different strategies. I don't know how you like killing people's so that would probably dictate which fold you delve into.
