I went through the whole checkout process (at the UO Game Codes Store) only to get an error message. I called the number that was given only to be told I'll have to wait 48 - 72 hours for a Tier 3 person to figure out what the hell went wrong.
I'll wait if I have to but it pisses me off that I can't even purchase the upgrades through the EA Store because their link is not active yet.
I am laughing like crazy...you can buy the expansion from a 3rd party vendor but not the ea game store??? I think it's nuts that the company doesn't even support thier own game!!! (and I can't buy from game codes for 14 days)
Well? The hell is it? Been almost an hour since it went up on UOGamecodes.
On the UO japan site it looks like there is a deliberate delay between when the expansion is put on the gamecodes store vs the EA store. I can't make out all the details though.
I figured out what the problem was with my transaction and I was able to purchase more than 1 (you can get up to 5).
Now the patching problem, that's an entirely different ballgame, that is. LOL
It is now approximately two hours since UOGamecodes got it. Where the hell is it?
You dont need to use eastore. If you have more then 1 account you have more then 1 login. You can buy 2 codes with every login at uogamecodes.
Switching CC's (if you have another), will solve that problem. They just check the form of payment used to purchase codes.
(You might also have to have more than one account for this to work too)
purchased three codes from the gamecodes site... logged in earlier with one account, purchased one code, then later using the same cc and email for another account purchased two more codes

yea ea store by the looks of it is the only one i can use also..
for some reason uo gamecodes says my accounts are to young even thothere a min of 6 yrs

Since the link is up. Its kinda rude on a launch day to derail a thread when someone is desperately attempting to get an upgrade code to play Ultima Online SA.

Can't say that I blame her for being grumpy but unfortunately she's off to class now. Hopefully when she gets back she'll be in a better mood seeing as how the EA store is finally available (only a few seconds after she left).

Customers outside of US/Canada get forwarded to another EA site which does not have UO:SA for sale.

All i keep getting is payment authorization failed. No reason why given. I had the same problems switching for a payment method when i moved countries to the US. Any phone numbers i can try ... probably gonna be jammed up for a couple days im guessing.

Couldnt get gamecodes to work either - must be some problem with how my info is stored in UK and the US maybe? I've triple checked my details on both sites. Both say theres some sort of problem with payment. Had to get a support guy to manually enter my info for my account change. Shouldn't be a problem, same one i've used all these years for it.
People in Europe get forwarded to their LOCAL EAstores when clicking that above link, which as mentioned does NOT hold Stygian Abyss. So we're still being shafted.

Oh, im in the US, card registered under my US address... just wont accept the payment. Card is from a multinational bank so should work...but doesn't. Like i said had the same problem upgrading my accounts when i moved over here. Just tried the support line to listen to some jaggy, cut up music on an old cd thats skipping whilst i wait for a GM...sorry i mean customer service rep. Looks like theres gonna be a fair few people not getting this expansion today then.

chrissy its a shame that it sounds like it wasnt well thought out! we appriciate that its not easy but... you realise all EU players are not very happy! it feels like we have just been forgotten about! while out US counter parts have all the attention!
I used UO game codes,and that worked.
I have upgraded subsription but I cant see any evidence that it works now.
Imbuing is not in the skill list .
Am I suppsoed to download something somewhere?
Ok fixed mine ...it seems ...managed to order one... only by trying all the different combinations of my name and initials. Might be the way my bank has listed it under my different accounts. Ah well... patching now so we will soon see!
Problem with 2nd Account Upgrade Purchase from EA Store
I just purchased from the EA Store twice.
The first upgrade went perfect. I received the codes and upgraded my first account successfully already.
The second upgrade failed. I got this message:
Oops! Our records show you have already purchased Ultima Online™: Stygian Abyss™. Only 1 digital download purchase of a particular title is allowed. You will not be charged for Ultima Online™: Stygian Abyss™ at this time.
I am concerned because I got a promotion code but no account upgrade code in the checkout screen and via email. And I also show a receipt confirming my second payment of $29.99 (contrary to the note above).
How does one contact EA customer support to resolve this? Certainly, if I paid for two account upgrade codes, I would like the second.
just needed to restart UO and wait for subscription to be saved.

Seems they still dont want my money. (2 SA upgrade codes, one 11th Anni and one Storage and Bank account upgrade ...)
Even after reducing to only one code no change.

Hmm i was just about to order a second account upgrade. If it says you can only have one digital download , how do you purchase 2 or 3 when theres no option to do so? I was going to do mine 1 at a time, i might wait for a while to do my second one if theres an issue to get the codes to upgrade your account.
Wasn't it said we should use the EA store for multiple account purchases? It only allows you to purchase one upgrade code. I spent a good long while on the phone getting that fixed because it did charge me contrary to what it says, and it sent a promo code but no upgrade code on the second account.

You can only order one code.
Got sent a promo and charged 32 bucks for it and NO game code.
Store order total things says oppp you get ONE game code only.

I called and got through. The EA Rep was very helpful, but ultimately he was not able to solve my problem on the phone. He had to upgrade my trouble ticket to "Tier 3". I am hoping for further resolution in 48 hrs. All I need is my SA Account Upgrade Code. I already got the second Promo code.
At least I got one copy upgraded... all this extra trouble is for my second account.
