EC fixes to take it out of beta

    thing one: fix that damn D-T-D crash it does when moving at max zoom. mainly when your at a run or sailing.

    Please list other things that need addressed

    Um.... The fact that there are several items that just can NOT be seen in the EC. STILL.

    How about the crappy way that the Circle of Transparency works?

    The fact that you can't place items in your house without them falling several floors below...

    How about the problem with moving things too quickly locking up your ability to move anything or pick anything up without logging out and back in...

    Those are all MAJOR issues.

    Add to that the fact that in custom mode you can't do broken stairs because stairs don't become transparent..... EVER in the EC.

    How about that there is no "Follow" Feature in the EC?

    How about the crash that occurs whenever you are near a monster doing NovaBlast??? Because some Memory leak or something causes you to totally LOCK UP.

    And then get to the fact that things like the Garland from Xmas still is either in your floor in the EC or if you raise it up so it's "right" then in the 2d client it's upstairs halfway through your floor... Or the nice ruined tapestry from Halloween won't place against your wall... How about that several years later I still have smoke and fire showing through my floor from my braziers downstairs...

    I could go on and on and on with a HUGE list of junk but there is an enormous list on the Beta Forum.

    Right now I'm getting sick and tired of seeing my female characters with male chests.... and my gargoyles with half their clothes not actually "on" the paperdoll.... and I can't see ANY jewelery on the characters except plain silver bracelets. So I have NO idea how my necklace looks with the nice metal dye because I can't SEE it.

    And it's based on the same game engine that powers Oblivion, Fallout 3, Rift, and a slew of other games.

    I realize that this is an old thread, but Malag, the problem you are having with moving things too quickly is an easy fix. What is happening is that you have a high ping and you are picking up something when something else is still in your hand. To cure it without logging, pick up something in you pack and immediately drop it in a vacant square next to it. The item that is "trapped" in your hand will drop into the vacant tile, and the thing you tried to pick up will go back to where you took it from.
