Again another event in trammel isnt it about time Fel was given some love?

There is no reason events cannot be done with reds and blues the fact the events are all in trammel suggests to me the em is incapable of catering for all aspects of Ultima Online playerbase.

Maybe they should have words with the EM's on Catskills or Atlantic for advice on running such an event!

We did do some events in Felucca in the past. But we stopped because there seemed to be no interest. And by that I mean literally no interest: for one event nobody at all showed up and at another there were only a handful of our regular blues. These events were well advertised on our website, stratics and even a book at Yew Gate.

But if there is a genuine interest from a sizeable group of players we could give it another try.

Feel free to email me if you want discuss this some more. My address is on our website.

Drach has some okay events for PvPers, but seems like on some shards the EMs has been asked to work together with players to make up some events in the future and get together and plan it and get a feel for different types of events. But this might only be a few shards, but its what been told by some of the EMs that takes some time to tell players about the plans and what events are upcoming on their shard the next couple of weeks.

Thankyou EM Emile Layne for your promising response!

I can only remember 1 event a long long time ago where it ended up at Skara and Reds got massivly condemed for ruining the event when infact red were only able to attack those who flagged.

I will have a chat with some people and see what the thoughts are and contact you. I do remember a great little event called the Trade Caravan i think it was player run where certain players had an object (nothing special) but it had to be taken through felucca from Trinsic to Britian.

Little things like this would mean red chars can get involved wether it be pvping or just taking part if we are in a guard zone there is very little we can do unless we get flagged and infact its harder for us because we dont want to be guard wacked!

Again Thankyou for your response it humbles me to see willingness to make something of this game!

Pjay that Trade Caravan was run by Lord Paidric of HLP. If you go back through the Europa News or my posts you will find the reports I did when I was a Europa Reporter.

Sadly I think real life and other commitments were the downfall of the Caravan that and the fact Paidric never wanted the event to become something people found boring so it was never intended to go on forever or be a regular feature.

If there is an event rare, people will come, and if you make the event in fel, the event rare should be a useful one at that

@ PJay - The Trade Caravans were, indeed, a player-created scenario. They demonstrated the best that UO has to offer - no real reward, but simply "we will do this just for fun."
As someone with a blue defenceless member of HLP; with a blue PvP-capable friend of HLP; and quite a few reds; I played different roles during the expeditions: I ran like a coward, trying to to stay alive; I defended on a blue; I defended on a red; and I attacked on a red.
I got nothing from these events except quite a few murder counts, and one of Paidrics "quest items." But it was bloody good fun.

@ Mervyn - TBH, this demonstrates much of what I feel is wrong with UO today.
If the PvP community needs leet-item rewards to drag themselves away from killing Blazing; and do a bit of PvP with non-miner PvEers (who might decide that they actually like PvP, and so will add to the pool of Europa PvPers) then there is no future for Europa PvP.
You are dooming youselves to keep fighting the same individual battles over and over and over. (And then boasting about it on UCH, of course.)

The PvPers who got involved in the "silly pets storming Yew Gate" event, or the "naked PvEers attack PvPers" evening, or even the "official defence of Magincia" didn't get items; but they did a great deal to bridge the gaps between the "Trammies" and the "Fellies" That is worth more than items (IMHO)
