What do you guys think about using Global Chat in upcoming events? I know that it was used for at least one event on Origin (Donal's Christmas Tree Experiment) and I know that Sara always announces on the General Channel when an event is about to start. Molly and I were thinking that we could start up an EM Event Channel at the beginning of each event for everyone to pop into. We thought it might be a good way to keep in touch with everyone participating in an event without clogging up the General channel. It would allow everyone to help give directions, find locations, know when an event is going on or over or, you know, just yell for help (not that you'd ever need to do that right?). We'd like to give it a try at the next few events and then get some feedback on how you think it's working, or not working.
