A Gathering of the People (Update)
    Monday, January 4, 2010
    By EMPallando

As mentioned at the event by the Queen, Sergeant Raynier has been moved to the dining hall within Castle British as an experimental measure by both Seppo and myself. This is a method to reduce our e-mail count and provide arc and guild/PRC storyline related answers in order to avoid pitfalls.

On the table next to him will be a book titled “Matters of the People”. My foremost request, for the moment, is that players write in the book in-character concerns or issues that have to do with perhaps their PRC (Player run city), the Queen, Gargoyles, and other things of the like and as well suggestions or topics to bring up at the next “People’s Council” meeting to take place (to avoid any dead ends).

Sergeant Raynier has been posted with a variety of responses, but should anything concerning something written in the book or otherwise, the keyword will be “council”, and will function much like the rumor mill, and be updated every so often if necessary.

For example, a player may write, “Several members of my guild (or PRC) have been the target of recent attacks by unknown assailants. Is the Queen planning to take measures against such occurrences?”
Returning soon after, the Sergeant would have a response (using the keyword mentioned earlier), if indeed, one is necessary (as it was with the question here). Saying something along the lines of, “The Queen is awaiting more evidence before she acts on the matter of recent assassination attempts on her allies”, etc..

This is a purely experimental measure, but one I would like to expand upon in the future if it goes well. Again, please keep it in-character and any questions about this system itself please reply to the post or e-mail us.
