Just a few thought's I'd like to air following a meeting with our wonderful EMs today!

    At the moment :

    1) When EM's spawn monsters in towns, people call guards and they get whacked.

    2) EM's clean up all trace of events after they finishing, leaving no history of the events.

So I was just wondering if people agree that, (or even if a dev should happen to read this, whether it's a possibility for) :

EM's be given powers to temporarily disable guard zones?
EM's be allowed to leave items/deco around after events?

Or any other suggestions as to what extras they have?
    (Draconi-esque pyrotechnics for example...)

    :)

  2. I am all for leaving items behind during a event as it helps us to remember history of our shard, specially when asked "What is that?". As for telling the guard to take time off, hey go for it, but be sure they know when to report back to duty.

Yeah, that could certainly be an issue! Perhaps only for 30 mins at a time, or it comes back on at maintenance?

I'm all for increasing the EM's powers, and allowing them to be on whenever they want so they can wander more like the Seers did... Going to player establishments and events and interacting with people. I get the distinct impression they are held to rigid hours, and generally can't exceed them.

Turning off guardzones would require Dev time to implement properly, as people would need to be warned that the guards won't respond to them. A crafter recalling into a city doesnt deserve to get slaughtered because they werent participating in the event..

    Pyrotechnics are always fun...
