    Inactive. Billing lapsed. won't accept payment even though other account is paidwith same cc. Told to buy gametime even though thats not a valid answer.

    I have a large number of accounts. Only one is paid up and I am able to log into the game on that one.

    I haven't attempted to access any of my accounts since the whole migration thing started. I have just been reading the threads. I'm not looking forward to the day that I have to attempt a log in to set up the master account, begin linking and such.

    I don't know how much time my main account has left on it. I wish I had checked back before they began the migration.

    Prior to Migration ALL my accounts were Active, open, and on recurring CC billing.
    Once Migration began I started receiving End of Subscription emails due to No Billing Info from Mythic Entertainment, but all accounts could be logged into.
    After I tried creating a "Persona" and linking accounts I lost all access to account info on the 9 that linked.
    Finally, the new Account System only shows less than half my accounts on their screen that Im allowed to see; and almost half of all my accounts are now blocked and cannot be logged into.

    One account the new system claimed had expired billing, and I was able to re-subscribe, billed me immediately and when I called EA Cust Rep told me I now was on BOTH a monthly recurring CC sub and a 6 month recurring CC sub for the SAME Account!!!

    Short of EA destroying ALL of our Account and Character data, I know of no way EA could have screwed this up worse than they have!!!

    Last official word I had from "them" on phone and internet yesterday was "hurry up and wait patiently."

    I suppose it truly is miraculous that Ultima Online exists at all after all these years under EA's idiotic and incompetent staff.

    I not ready to give all I own away and quit. But I am the closest to that right now that I have ever been.

    I have one inactive account with which I did the first run. The migration process went as intended. The UO-account was automatically identified which means it was listed, I just had to click on it. Perfect. The account is still inactive so I can't test the log-in.

    After this encouraging experience I tried the same with my main account but ... [insert long explanation here] I'm still getting this obscure error message telling me I have to go back to main page.

    Update:
    Not anymore. I just checked the account management page again and now both accounts are listed with correct informations.

    my 2 accounts are Active, havent been charged a thing, i did close both of my accounts down over a month ago.
    Have never been able to access the "new" account managment site...

    Which is nice.

    Dbl billed on accounts just paid for by CC a month & 2 mos ago! Just by entering my new information they asked for. Then getting the acct time is ending email on an acct that was just billed a month prior, just by looking & making sure all CC info was in there! Talk about one messed up billing program.

    I checked the first option in the poll, but wanted to add a few comments.

    I received four "purchase notification" e-mails on Sunday but only expected to receive one for an account that I reopened Sunday because I removed the billing info from it before the migration started and it ran out of paid time a few days later. I've been able to log into that account since I made the transaction in the Account Center on Sunday to reopen the account.

    What's sort of strange is that my bank statement only shows one charge from EA that's been pending since Sunday morning when I restarted that one subscription. So at this point I don't know if the other three e-mail messages were generated in error by EA without an actual corresponding attempt to bill me for them or if my bank is sitting on some additional charges.

    I've got two accounts I opened up in July for what I expected to be only one month so I could collect some vet rewards. I removed the billing info from those accounts before the migration started and expect them to shut off any time now (should have happened yesterday) but so far they're still open and show the 14 day game time notation and look like they'll shut off by September 5th. I haven't tried to update their billing information in the new system because I don't want the accounts to stay open. So I'll be annoyed if, in spite of clearing the info before the migration and not trying to update it in the new system, the cc info that was deleted from the old system was somehow retained and carried over and they are automatically renewed around September 5th.

    My other accounts that shouldn't have a payment due for a few more weeks and that I confirmed cc info for last week were, as of yesterday morning, just showing the 14 day game time notation yesterday morning. However, now one of them looks like it's set to go to 1 month billing automatically around September 5th. Why that didn't happen on the other accounts is kinda baffling. I'm inclined to just wait it out with those accounts and see if they completely shut down September 5th or if they generate a payment anyway.

    For the online account stuff... I 'might' go see/sign up later on - they said they'd tell us when it's Done, and do a write-up with instructions for us when they are Done. They are Not Done that i know of.
    If I get dbl charged, they'll fix it automatically in a few days, been there, done that.

    OK well i can log into all my accounts and into game on all. No problem there, PROBLEM IS! I am now doubled billed on 2 accounts which now show good through the next year at this time and one account they took off my active billing that i just setup and was charged for already and in place they put in 14days free game time! WTH!!!!!!! :gun::gun::gun:

    4 accounts I had active before the surprise account migration, currently all 4 are locked out of game, I can get to them in the new account system but get that lovely generic error no matter what i try to do in there. (Won't accept my CC that I've been paying for my uo subscription on for the past few years, GTC doesnt work, and trying to do anything really is just "error, return to homepage")

    8 active accounts, 4 inactive accounts, 3 of the active accounts being double billed (working on getting that straightened out with EA now).
    The 8 active accounts accessible in game.
    The 4 inactive accounts are NOT accessible in game.

    I haven't set up a "Master Account" for the "Account Migration" yet. I am waiting for everything to get smoothed out and stop getting daily HOROR stories posted.

    I was even told by one of the EA Customer Reps that they would wait awhile to do the EA Master Account Migration as well.

    I have 2 currently active accounts and 9 inactive accounts.

    I've linked all but the two least used inactive accounts, waiting to see a fix to link them all to the same EA Master Account.

    Both my active accounts are paid up through October and November so I have not entered any billing information yet. Looks like that was a good decision based on all the double-billing problems.

    Seven of the nine inactive accounts hold a house but none of them reaches 80+ days closed until mid-September. Three of them just went inactive in July. I'm hoping this is straightened out by then and that I have no problem reactivating them.

    I've always kept five or six accounts active for years but I've pretty much quit playing UO so I've shut down accounts as payment came due this summer. It's hard to quit after more than 10 years.

    I know at least one of my accounts is active and accessible, but I have no idea how many of them are in what state, nor how to access their silly system because of the way the email association has been handled, and really, REALLY not willing to jump through any hurdles until they've figured out what they're doing.
     
  18. All good now, but I couldn't figure out the account management page until I saw the guide posted by Larisa (thank you!). I'm sure others couldn't figure it out either.

    Honestly though, I only spent a few minutes trying and then said to myself "I'll just wait until somebody at Stratics makes a guide". Which, sadly, seems to be the norm for me and UO. Without Stratics documentation, would there be any documentation for this game?

    I'd have to vote Other.

    2 Accounts recently debited from my account. (money has left my account and EA now has it)
    EA then removed my billing info (which all went well untill now) and cancelled my accounts.
    Won't let me access my account now with my email address (the same one they used to send me the cancelation emails.......

    Won't let me ingame due to cancelled accounts.
    Also They did take an extra Tax on my latest payment. Not a subscription increase but a seperate line that states Tax.
    VERY naughty as it was from my UK creditcard at my UK address which has V.A.T and taking another tax ontop of that IS illegal and i SHALL be forwarding the info to the Inland Revinue for investigation into Tax Fraud.
    (an offence which carries jail time in the UK)

    I got an email claiming there is no billing information on my secondary acct and that it has been closed (8/23/11 @12:01am being the date and timestamp of the email... yet I can log into the acct and house on that account is showing that it is still auto-refreshing... odd.

    All accounts active and accessible, with a caveat....

    I entered all the information, and it took.

    Now, a week later, two of my accounts have had additional time ADDED (good), but in the form of 90 day GTC effective starting Monday - but voiding the part I'd paid for (not good - see below).

    Account 1 (my primary, though listed second for some reason): was last paid 6/11/11, due again 12/11/11. Status and billing information unchanged.

    Accounts 2 & 3: I had my accounts set up to were I was billed for one account per month, in Q2 & Q4 (April/May/June & Oct/Nov/Dec). So, Account #3 was due to bill the first week of October, and #2 the first week of November.
    Thanks to the remainder of my account time being replaced mysteriously by 90 day GTC (extending one account by 2 weeks, the other by 6 weeks), I now have two accounts billing on the SAME DAY, and all 3 within a 3 week period. My budget can't handle that. Nor can it handle trying to "jiggle" the account dates* like I did in the past to get them to line up that way until next summer (Q1 is the most difficult to pay bills in due to heating costs).

    So, in being given the equivalent of two extra months worth of game time, they've screwed up my finances.

    Who knew that getting free time could be a BAD thing?

    *aka using selective changes to 1 or 3 month subscriptions with some accounts to spread the billing dates out, before locking them all back down on the 6 month plans.

    Locked out of my account, both in game and account maintenance. They said there is a billing problem. I cannot access my account to fix it, neither can support. Told me to try back in a WEEK! Sure as hell glad I don't really play this game anymore or I'd be really pissed about now!

    P.S. My Account was active and accessible when this started.

    I opted for other...my main account is paid up until December and everything seems fine with it. My secondary account just got the end of sub notice because no info on file, but the info is there and so far I can still log in.

    Third account can't log into game because no billing info on file, but I got error messages when I tried to update it. 4 and 5 ran out of sub time and I decided to leave them inactive. I think I am slightly annoyed with the whole thing and might just drop from 5 active accounts down to the main and then reassess in December.

    Last time I got annoyed I left UO and spent about 3 years playing AC, maybe it's time to give Turbine my money again for a while.

    I have one account closed, and one active for another week or so.

    I went to uo.com today to try to figure out the account billing stuff, and thankfully posts here on Stratics helped a lot! It was like looking at Chinese at first (doesn't help that I was trying to use an old email account that wasn't linked to any of my UO accounts! LOL)

    Now both accounts are linked, and it seems to be easier to manage now! (just really difficult to get to that point) When I saw "Master Account" I was thinking I logged into some sort of GM account. LOL :p

    I can now get into my accounts but now have another problem
    they show as a trial accts my youngest is 112 months or around there not sure sometimes it updates other times it stay for months

    I am thinking we all need a :grouphug:


    ( I could always log into the game just not into all of my accts)

    Was able to figure out, thanks mostly to the posts here, how to create a master account, and tied my only UO account to the DAoC account I had tied to my Mythic account already. I already had a 6 month gametime renewal going through on the 5th, which disappeared from my online bank records until the migration, then it came back. I was always able to log on to the game, but definitely some bumps along the way.

    Got one of them also Dermott, on an acct I knew was paid up for 6 mos. That's when my dbl billing started, when I went to check on it's status & another acct's status. One screwed up billing migration I'll tell ya

    I voted Other because my situation is the following.

    My account is active, and I can log into the game. The Account Management page "seems" to work though I cannot access my credit card informations for example or other info which I was able to access with the previous system.

    The problem is, that at the Account management page, bottom of the SUBSCRIPTIONS screen, my UO account under status does not really say ACTIVE as I saw it says for others, but has some gibberish like ??.XXX.?? where the XXX stands for some numbers.

    I have no clue what that means. I do know that the account is paid for and I am using a 6 months subscription plan.

    My accounts works well but not the EA managment account. Now it sees my accounts but i can't do nothing, I doin't see credit cards, subscription and so on. I can only pay . The only page where i can interact is one in which i can pay.
    Basically all the site is down, for me :/

    I'd rec'd the email: end of subscription notification - no billing information on the 21st

    My recurring monthly cc charge of $12.99 went through on the 24th per usual (no tax) - only difference being the name on cc charge had been ONLINE GAMES POGO/EA prior --- and now it is paid to ELECTRONIC ARTS.

    I've had no interruption to my game play.
    I've only one account.
    I will not attempt to go to the new account management page to link, hook up, whatever ... until it is all situated and hub-bub over.

    I feel really bad for those who have attempted to get on the new system & due to what seems poor logistics have debauckled their cc charges and for those who have compounded issues & not able to log onto game.

    I hope the Herald page will provide a one stop strait up user friendly logistic instruction set to properly work the new site once all is said and done. Plus send an email to all subscribers e-mail addresses on file instructing them what is up with link to the Herald page for aforementioned logistics.

    My better half has one account also, has not received any emails, has had no interruption to game play and has no idea anything is going on. :lol:

    What always has to be remembered (and what many people on Stratics are quick to point out when a particular poll doesnt go there way), is that the vast majority of UO players dont read Stratics. Stratics has helped many people with their account issues since this fiasco started, but the vast majority are getting no help at all. Certainly not from EA.

    This debacle could well lose EA (UO) many thousands of subscriptions, which as a game it can ill afford. Another nail in the UO coffin. Way to go EA.

    Although I haven't had any problems yet, hearing the problems with double billing and the fact that I can't review CC info at this time, I'm very worried about what will happen when I have to renew accounts. I've been paying monthly and I can't afford any billing snafu's and possible overdraft fees.

    Some folks have said how they use prepaid debit cards and I'll probably start doing that. I see PayPal offers a Debit card, but I don't want anything linked to my bank account so I might pass on that.

    Either way, it looks like I'm gonna have to call the bank and cancel my current debit card just so that number is no longer valid for purchases... just in case EA tries to double bill that card when I make changes.

    I can't do that at the moment because Irene is approaching and I need a working card, but after that I'll probably just cancel the card and transfer all of my accounts to a prepaid debit card that is not connected to my bank account.

    My two cents.

    If you see those signs, just change the language on top of the screen to another one and then back to english and you can read what the signs suppose to say. I think its because our browser (in my case its dutch) is not one of the 4 languages.

    They won't take my card that I have been using for years. One account is paid for by my fiance for the month, but the other accounts I will not pay for until they take my card again like they have always done before Account Migration.

    Wow! Yes, now i see all.
    But the expansions are all. Misses for example "the 7° character slot". I have it in game but in the page of management account there is not.
    Is it normal?
    Where i can see ALL my features?

    PS: in some accounts there are all features, in some not. Ingame is all all right.

    90 day game time codes that came from EA are invalid.... 15+ hrs trying to reactivate my two accounts 18 emails 3 phone calls 5 live chats later..... NOTHING!

    I havent been able to play due to personal reasons. I have three accounts. Got three emails saying my three accounts did not have billing info loaded on them. I call and the guy says we only have billing info on one account and he cant do anything to the others until the issue has been resolved. Three days later a get an email saying the two accounts with no billing info have been suspended due to credit card being declined.
    In a tizzy i call my bank (debit card) and my credit card holder and was assured both were up to date and open with money avalible. I do know they apparantly have my billing info because they are still getting paid monthly if my houses fall i will be upset.
