Lower the cost of silver. All it is doing is making it easier for the better PvPers of the shard to have good items, and the new PvPers to be forced to use leather. To put together a good mage suit it costs about 100k silver, which can take between 8-12 hours to farm. This is coming from one of the GOOD PvPers on the shard, who dies every 1-2 weeks, CHANGE THIS. And I know everyone thinks "Oh well then an orny won't be worth jack" well it already isn't worth much, so no problems there, but here is my solution: On Siege Perilous only, MAKE THESE NEW FACTION ITEMS CURSED. That way a mage or dexer can build a respectable suit in 1-2 hours, or 17-22k silver. The problem is, many thought raising the prices would eliminate the use of them from the game, not true. The most elite players will always farm the silver(most of it by exploit) and still get these items. I personally farm about 20k silver a day, so when I die every 10 days or so I can re equip. While half of the people I fight are using GM armor and die in a single combo, or a few special moves. This NEEDS to be fixed for balance, make these items easier to obtain, and cursed so the originals still hold some value. The current system makes no sense at all. If any of the DEV's played SP they would realize 99% of people who PvP are factions, and this is making PvP unbearable for many. This is the thing: a prodo shard player(yes I PvP prodo as well) can build a suit in about 60-70 minutes that he will then bless, and never lose. A siege player must farm for 300-350 minutes for the same suit that will drop when they die. Fix this, I don't see why this was ever changed. I'm tired of fighting people in GM armor.
