Which is the better time investment for loyalty gains? Escorting rioters or dropping goods such as ribs and leather into the crate at the docks?

I think it was said that the donations were faster but I did 9 chars doing BODs to get all the banners. It takes a fair amount of BODs to do this but about 7 days later I had all 9 banners.

    Depends per city.

For magincia and minoc rioters is fast and free, but for large cities like britain and yew etc it takes forever to find them.

Ribs and leather are the only allowed goods or is there anything else that is accepted ?
Also, it works for stacks as well or is it necessary to drop items 1 by 1 and not in stacks ?

    Thanks for the info.

    You can drop stacks Popps.

I used fish steaks. Bought fish from fishermen NPCs and cut them up. 100K steaks will get you from zero to Adored.

Drop ingots into the box. You'll be venerated in 20 min.

Aye, as they said, iron ingots are the way to go.
Also, bods are a quick way to get to adored as well. And probably venerated if you turn in large bods. I only turn in small ones for POF and Bronze hammers, so I am still at adored.

Champ spawns! I totally forgot they helped towards city loyalty. I did a champ the other day and it was flying up.

I like boards better than ingots... somewhere between 60k and 80k and you are done. I took one stack (leap-frog style) from the bank to the turn-in box and then dropped 2k at a time onto the box. (2k is the storage limit on the box and the most you can drop at one time). It only took a few min to go from zero to max loyalty.

    Thanks all for the answers.
When we talk about stacks being "droppable", this means only the actual stack ? I am asking, because, depending on what the stack is, a 60k stack can be way heavier than what a main backpack can hold...
Is it possible to also drop commodity deeds for those items ? That is, if one drops a stack of 10k ribs or a commodity deed for 10k ribs the loyalty received is just the same ?

    Thanks.

The box doesn't accept commodity deeds, sadly, so you have to throw in stacks of the actual good (ingots, boards, ribs, etc).
Also note that coloured ingots/boards/leather aren't worth more points than the normal ones.
When the change was implemented, I dropped around 30K barbed leather at the trade box, thinking I would get more points, but it wasn't the case.

At least getting barbed leather is easier than getting normal leather.

No deeds cant be dropped it has to be stacks and i found it would only let me drop 10k iron ingots at a time into the box. I just leap froged the stack to the box and then dropped them 10k at a time.

Did anyone figure out if there is any particular type of a resource that might be more cost efficient (cost vs. benefit) than another ?

That is, whether ribs may be better than boards or ingots or whatever ?

By the way, I also noticed that animals can be donated, not necessarily tamed, they can also be just herded. What is the Loyalty return for donated animals ? Is it regardless of the animal (i.e. donating a cat will yield the same loyalty as donating a sheep or a cow...) or is there a difference in the loyalty earned depending on what animal one donates ?

    Thanks.

I've got Ingots ready to do this on my chars, but I heard it decays so I've been reluctant to bother with it. Is it worth doing?

Can each city be done on one character? Or does raising the loyalty of one city lower the others? (sorry just returning to the game after a short break and this is all new to me)
