Mystics should not be able to fly and have a RC up at the same time (this would require flying to take up a control slot, which would also fix tamers being gargoyles).
No precasting another RC while one is currently 'alive'. I cannot precast two EVs (significantly lower power compared to RC) like they can hold a cast of a RC.
Spell plague NOT being a global effected spell. The caster of the spell plague only gets its benefits.
Mages need to have an equivalent spell to purge a target. Possibly dispel field? (open to suggestions).

Just to toss this idea out again...to get flamed...have magic resistance actually do something other than resisting poison/curse/lessen plague.
Example: GM resist makes your suits resists what they actually are, 110 makes your caps 72; 120 makes your suit max resists 75; having 0 resist (TONS OF TEMPLATES) 44 is your cap.
Require GM tinkering to trap boxes. If this change went in, you could ignore the suit resist changes that I have suggested.

Similar to the disarm buff, you cannot be chain-disarmed like you once could, have ALL specials have a cool down between uses.
There are templates designed around chaining certain special moves: mortal, wakasiski (spelling) force walk, and chain AI.
How about some finesse when slaying an opponent requiring more than one special move!

Bingo, Yatzee, but I would also like all throwing weapons converted two-handing, so that gargs do not gain an extra mod slot (usually a huge chunk of hci or dci with pvp) on their weaponry in place of having balanced mod for equalizing with archery weapons. Either that or convert archery weapons to one-handing.

How about sheep throwers? Imagine the fun of getting to hit another player with a fuzzy, cuddly sheep

Forget sheep throwers, Keg Tossing! Wrestling+Alchemy+high strength gives you the ability to throw entire kegs of explosion pots, the catch is you must be wearing nothing but a kilt.

In all seriousness, I kind of like the idea of having GM+ Resist boost elemental resist caps. Maybe +1 at GM, +2 at 105, etc. and some way to choose how the points are distributed, ie +1 to each vs +5 to fire at 120.

Only thing I'm going to comment on is....
It's not fair for my human or elf characters have to walk because GD and RC take 5 slots. Playing field should be equal. Flying doesn't take a slot neither should a ethy. or just make it like the rideables that only take 1 slot. example horse 1 slot/ ethy horse no slot. same with ostard' llama

That ultimately was the breakdown of what I was suggesting. +1 to resist cap at each 5 total skill above GM. The entire idea was to have resist actually have a use again. Picking/choosing which resist gets a buff is already in game via the balms/lotion things for armor. The resist change would be an incentive to have 120. 75s for all resists (80 energy if elf) just as a blanket cover. Would make those balms/lotions actually worth it.
Example: Already have 80 energy on my elf...why not lose some energy to up my DCI?
Regarding the spell plague being individually affected; the coding already exists from EOO (enemy of one). Shouldn't be too difficult, programmers...sorry, to modify it for an application to mages/casters.

I am not trying to start an online exchange of insults either, if we as a community can attempt to keep this thread on track I'm sure we will eventually get some feedback from the dev team...maybe?

Bring back camping to PVP !!!!11!!!one
Gargs should be able to fly with a pet, the problem is rather should a garg be able to fly with a GD?
one solution to make it fair, is to make ethys count for 0.
Resisting spells should be more powerfull, maby make it scale with enchanted apples and pots ?
I still think its a joke that with 120 resisting spells you can't resist evil omen..
Better stop now, before i have to wear MY 100% LFC (Lower flame cost) suit

*Walks in the front door of the Tavern and shakes the dust from the trail off of his cloak*

    I feel it is fair.

Each race has its own advantages of some sort.

Our Role Play or Game Play of a certain race fits our own personal choices. If you wish to fly while taking your greater dragon out for a walk then start a Gargoyle. If you prefer an elf then you are making the choice not to.

You have full control of the choices.

I m sorry Eda but i think mystics have already been enough nerved !!! We did loose so many things already (okie i agree the char was a bit OP in pvp) but still a nasty impact on pvm....
talking about armors i guess you didnt hear about refinements ??? I know they are not an easy one to use and could have been done better but still....
I like the fact that we can get more diversity among chars... I like seieng flying tamers and such... and nothing prevent you to do the same...
so NO thanks for your "suggestions"

I do not play a mystic nearly enough to know what nerfs they have already had. In my opinion there is still much that can be balanced regarding mystics. Able to hold a precasted RC? Really? Already have access to the most powerful summon in game and you can keep a reserve of one? I am suggesting ideas to level the playing field in regards to other templates. Once upon a time there was skill involved in combat. Now it’s literally all item based. I am not claiming that the changes have not been great along the timeline, nor am I suggesting that we revert back to 'the old days'...just a revamp/balance of what is currently available.
If a mystic goes into protection and stone form then just spams cleansing winds on themselves/group of players (though individual target is WAY more effective) it is almost impossible to kill 1v1 unless there are pets involved.
I did make mention of refinements, just not aware of their actual name. Please reread what I have suggested.
Flying tamers is all fine and dandy, just when you have a greater dragon eating your face and its controller spamming AI/mortal at mount speed while you are on foot...seems pretty stupid.
Sleep deprivation quick thought regarding 'control' slots. Flying takes more skill/CONTROL to do...why not have flying take a control slot? Or is that considered putting logic into a fantasy MMORPG?

and once again it s all over the same story... PVP... if you cant beat them make one of them then... nerfing always have been the "easy" solution for those who dont wanna bother changing their own playstyle. The sad thing is that some of us play pvm mostly and they always pay the price for lazy players...
Once again leave the pvm mystic alone.... 4 nerfs is enough to me and even if u dont know about them they still impact our daily fun.

I can actually agree with this I hate going to events cause I swear to God they need freaking air traffic control for the damned hovering Gargoyles. Flap-flap-flap...Flap-Flap-Flap...FLAP-FLAP-FLAP! Do you have any idea how FREAKIN ANNOYING your flapping is to the rest of us? The only thing worse than the gargoyles are asinine tamers with Greater Dragons and other large pets they bring to events. Then have their pets stand on you or the EM. Good Grief!!! You should be thankful events aren't in fel, I'd killed you, your pet, and down that flapping gargoyle to begin with....Signed angry dexxer with a Sword.

Did you actually read his post? None of his suggested changes to Mysticism would affect PVM at all.

Gargoyle flying = +1 control slot, just as an ethy for a non-gargoyle character. sounds fair to me, but is it really necessary? probably not.
No precasting RCs while one is active. I couldn't agree more about that, but other summon spells should be treated the same way. (animated weapon & natures fury are the only ones I know of besides RC off hand)

Not sure what you mean about spell-plague.. It does proc for other players spells, the damage from spellplague is from the player that casted it though,
Ahh, Now I think I know what you're talking about...., You mean it multiple mystics have spellplague active on the same target, for each individual mystic to get procs as their own damage. Sounds good for pvm, But if that affected pvp, it would be overpowered, essentially, it would mean allowing spellplague to stack multiple times on the same player/creature etc..

The only change to spell plague I'd like to see, would be for Remove Curse to remove it along with other curses, like it does with everything else in the game.
currently, if you're affected by Spellplague & mortal, strangle and every other curse in the Game!, when you use an Enchanted Apple, or Remove Curse spell, it removes Only the spell plague... bug? perhaps. I'm sure it's been reported.

Magic Resist is already worth having over many skills, I think it's fine as it is.. interesting idea though... But you can already get 75 in all resists with refinements OR stoneform (mysticism).

GM Tinkering required to trap boxes, you know, I would love for this to happen. make those dexers "Time" their trap box, or die spamming it. (3-4 ticks) at GM tinkering would probably kill someone, maybe 6 ticks at most. I like that idea. it penalizes people for not having resist, and it'll still be viable to use trap boxes in some situations.

If they did something like that with special attacks via weapons, I think they would have to add more than two specials per weapon. assuming it would affect all specials anyway.

Also, pvm dexers usually chain the same specials over and over as well.

Covenant, I think you have the broad idea of what I'm trying to say regarding spell plague. You do bring up an interesting topic though...possible immunity for X seconds after a player/target has been hit with a plague?
If I, a mystic, cast spell plague on a target you and I are dumping...I will get the plague proc. from your damage as well as my own.
What I am suggesting is that it not be that way. My spells are what activates my plague procs, not globally open to anyone/anything.
Aye, about the trapped boxes. Remember when magic trapped pouches did at most 6 damage? Then they were being abused and they upped the damage to 20ish?
GM tinkered boxes could still be useful, but with a larger risk to the user of them.

OFF ALL your suggestions I say no except one : I agree with you that precasting a reserve colossus when you already have one on the field shouldnt be allowed, this was probly a bug not intended when they released SA but they never fixed it due to not enought complains I guess...

agree with your suggestions for making the resist skill more useful. I've always viewed trapped boxes as being lame and feel that they should never EVER allow replacing a skill with items.
