Sufri Jaskinor has not known a moment's peace since he inherited the treasure. He, his wife, and what remains of their household are now fleeing for their lives. Forced off the road by brigands, they huddle in an old fort and hope to live through the night. Their few remaining bodyguards pace the perimeter. The youngest guard is sent to seek help. The trusting youth begs assistance from all he meets. Many set off for the fort, some with compassion in their hearts, some with greed and cruelty twisting their souls.

    ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

If the fort defenders can keep at least one member of the Jaskinor group alive for a set period of time, they win. If the attackers manage to kill all the npcs, they win.

There will be few, if any monsters. There will be one healer in the fort, for as long as she lives. Gates to both the attacker and defender locations will appear near the Brit and Buc’s moongates.

    Updates and changes:

I’m dropping the registration requirement and thus also dropping the Award Hall recognition.

On Saturday, the gates will go up at 8 p.m. CDT. The event will end at 8:30 p.m. CDT or when the entire Jaskinor group dies, whichever comes first.

Thank you, Martyna, for posting information and pictures of the event :)

I wanted to respond to a few concerns I see in the thread:

    1. As you state that none of the Defenders used this option, it seems the concern is Attackers sneaking in through the Defenders' Gate. I had foreseen this problem, but chosen to leave the Defenders' Gate up for the duration so latecomers wouldn't be forced to be on the Attackers' side. Perhaps it would be better to remove it next time?

    2. As I understand it, this was a tactic used to protect the Jaskinor Family. Defenders attacked all of them at the start and led them into the little house where they could be best protected. Defenders then attacked them a few more times to keep them there. Clever tactic.

    3. The goal as stated in the original post was to either slay or protect the Jaskinor Family. The Defenders kept them all alive and thus won.

    4. No individual defender won! Crown Royal asked Keel at the end of the event who had won and Keel said the Defenders won. I don't know where anyone got the idea that any specific player had won anything or been declared the winner!

    5. I had wanted to do pre-registration and have the groups meet ahead of time to avoid this, but only one person signed up. I want to do more team-vs.-team Felucca events in the future, but am a bit concerned about how to divide and differentiate the groups. Suggestions are welcome.

    6. Different colored robes or asking people to wear specific colors might have helped. Though there would still be double-agents causing havoc. I'll probably try this next time and see how it goes :)

I did not say the defenders did not hop gates I said they did not leave the fort to fight the attackers. THey might have changed sides by hoping the gate but I was not watching. I was outside trying to fight the attackers.

So what you are saying is you set up a grinder fight on purpose.

Nonsense. It might be true that someone did this but people were going grey right and left and some were in vent with me and were not sure why they went grey since they had not attacked anyone unless they were red or grey themselves. Someone was randomly turning people grey.

It would be nice to see a post immeadiatly after to clarify who won or lost or what the outcome was to dispell the claims made by idiots that they were told they one.

Why cant you get a GM to make up a few dozen robes in two hues we cannot make yet.

and 12,000 people show up for the new rares? wouldn't help much.

Hm, how else would you protect a fort?
