    Battle Bots!!!!!

What if you could embue Golems? Create an arena and UO could have Battle Bot Tournaments.

Throw a little DCI/Spell effects/Extra Resists/or whatever and have at it.

Probably don't want it in PvP, but everyone could have their very own Battle Buddy.

Came to me at starbucks when I was thinking about an embuing problem, and one of the other customers kids was playing wiht a toy robot.

Something like this would be kinda cool, but there's already games for this if you want to play it. And, we have chickens.

Well I didn't say it was a good idea, just something funny that popped into my head along with ideas for edible art (ooo, did you try licking that picasso?) and an expansion for UO that would include a hardware device for smells (who the hell left all these dead fish on the bucs dock? and dammit people, after you kill an ogre, clean up after yourselves) :)

I also remember a really crappy movie about battle bots replacing wars. Nations would build giant robots that would settle whatever disputes they had in a giant desert arena. Like I said, a really crappy movie with a few twists that could be seen a mile away. LOL.

Maybe they could add something like this to chickens though.

Armored battle chickens and u can spend so many points into customizing each of them in different ways.

Look at that, we have ourselves a good idea! :thumbup1:

I think it would be interesting. Crummy thing about Golems is... you can't bond them.

One would think it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to be able to rebuild them, makes a lot more sense than resurrection (of anything) does.

    Too bad we can't though.
So many half-useful tinker combat items, but none are good enough to justify their existence, let alone make a tinker viable in low-level combat.
The new tinker golems tend to get killed by poison, which doesn't even make sense.

I wish EA/Mythic had the resources to have a couple of Devs just go around visiting skills which have had their usefulness either nerfed, or skills just not that effective (like tinkering) and tweak them a bit.

Even collaborative recipes that woul dneed an armorer to make barding, an alchemist to mix a hardening agent, a tinkerer to apply agent to barding, etc. Making an exceptional barding with a small bonus of some kind.

perhaps a quest to get the recipe, but nothing that will be crazy hard so as not not unbalance anything else.
