That kind of describes me. Outside of UO, I've never played an MMORPG. No desire. I like FPS. However, for reasons I can't explain, I've pre-ordered GW2. Big chunk of change for someone that doesn't like MMORPGs, but something about the game is very appealing to me.

    It better be :p

Being a fan and a player of GW1 and moving into GW2, I can say that the game has the best part of many games I have played MMO wise. WvWvW as an example can be closely related to DaoC. Was the best epic PvP ever. DaoC have 3 factions. In those aspects I can say its DaoC but GW2 WvWvW is better and has more options within their WvWvW than DaoC has to offer. They cater to all levels of PvPers and even PvE'rs that may want to try.

PvE what can I say. The game says it all. Just simple videos of people exploring and doing little things here and there are simlar to many console games out there.
