do they get a bonus to enhance items with special materials? the description isnt very clear it says bonus to imbue, enhance, and unravel magical items,

if they do how much of a chance is it and is it worth it?

They do have a imbuing bonus and they do have a unravel bonus! as to the enhancing I have not tried it but have seen people say they get one but have seen no data on it one way or another!
imbuing is about 6% bonus 120 for the 5th mod added
unravel is about 20% bonus (as you have probably noted from the relic frag posts)

Gargoyles receive a 1% enhancing bonus every 10 pts above GM.

So probably zero enhanced on carpentry/tinker unless they changed talisman interaction with enhancing. I guess 2% better for tailoring and maybe 8% better for blacksmithy.

    In reality its not notieceable.

The amount doesn't matter much anyway and regardless of being gargoyle, human, or elf everytime you enhance you will be pissed off for losing the piece and all the POF for that item or all the relics lost. I have lost weeks worth of work getting relics, special ingredients, runics, etc in one second from bows and armor that break.

I will take every percent that I can get to successfully enhance an item.

well what im confused about is this

    the site uoherald says this
but ingame gargoyle racials only mention imbuing

i mean theres nothing in the imbuing gump that says "enhance" so i was thinking that it meant that they get an enhance bonus in the other crafting skills.

but the only other place that talks about enhance is in the imbue page http://www.uoherald.com/guide/guide.php?guideId=282 here
and that cant be talking about any other profession since its just about imbuing

    kinda confused by the wording

Well I am probably confued too. Maybe they mean at GM imbuing you get an enhance bonus plus an additional enhance of 1% each +10 imbuing above GM. So maybe they are trying to say there is an extra 3% for gargoyles at 120 imbuing and that is not dependant on the tailoring, carpentry, or blacksmithy skills.

The problem with that interpretation there would be two dependant variables the imbuing skill AND the race.

I guess another interpretation would be 1% for GM imbuing and for each of the other skills above GM in steps of +10 there is another 1%. This would mean there would be many dependant variables.

I agree now the wording is confusing.

Sorry to resurrect this thread but I've also noticed that the FoF notes say:

... increased chance to imbue, enhance, and unravel magical items.
    while the in-game description is:

... increased chance to imbue and unravel magical items.

I couldnt find any further informatio on the subject. Do we have any verification on this enchance bonus or is it still an unknown after one year?

As far as I know its still an unknown bonus, and I've trawled through all the SA info I could get trying to find some reference to it :(
