GM Service, really?!

    So, I paged a GM due to an issue I was having.

    I have a personal bless deed used on an item which I wanted to remove, I had only just changed it to another item but now I cannot remove.

    The only thing I can think of that's changed is I recently xferd to Alt and back with this char although the item was not on them.

    So cut to the chase, here is my reply 3 days later....

    Well it was not the delay I was worried about, it was the fact that they washed their hands

    Yeah, that's my next step. shame I should have to email the producer over such a small issue..

    I had the same issue a while back, and I had to mention in the page specifically that I had transferred the Character recently, and that my Personal Bless Deed did not work for me anymore. the first time I paged, the Gm basically accused me of stealing the item with the PBD on it and refused to help *chuckles*

    I had the same problem a few months back, but i first had the same problem before broadsword took over and a GM came and fixed it for me. I xfered a few months back and forgot to take my sheild with me which had the bless deed on it, so when i came back my char ID was difrent and i could not use the personal bless deed. No problem i thought, GM fixed the same issue a wee while back. But when i contacted a GM on the issue i was told they would not be helping me resolve the issue. It seams this is a broad sword thing as it was always fixed before broadsward took over.

    Hardy Winker and Magnus said to say hi to you and said you should pop over to look at Archeage you would like it. Its like a modern day UO

    Makes sense, I left out that I had Xfered the char on my page as I only just thought of it when I got the reply from broadsword. I'll try paging again.

    Say hello to Winker and Magnus for me, I miss the old TMG, Pwn, God days, great fun. I'll have to take a look at Archeage see what all the noise is about..

    That's their canned response. I got the same email with my character transfer issue. Pretty sad.

    What's a GM??? I haven't seen one in AGES. The last time I paged for one I was "5th" in the queue, and 4 hours later still no response! :(

    I saw two over the summer. One was when I was stuck doing a spawn @ Marble on my Sampire, I was caught in some trees. I was in war mode, so I got the "Please enter your problem" gump. Once I tabbed out, I used the normal help/stuck, rendering their help pointless.

    The other time was when I got a warning for some foul language in chat. I didn't see the GM at all (I think I was eating), just came back to see the GM's text in my journal.

    Losing the deed is a big loss.

    Makes me feel guilty for laughing so hard when I first saw the title of the thread

    This is why I quit using my crafter to go from shard to shard. One of his crafting talismans is "owned by"..... and when I transferred I didn't realize that when I came back to my home shard it no longer recognized who he was. Now if I could find another talisman just as good or better I'd just throw that one away. But it's the best one I have and I need it. Just really annoying that I can't use him to transfer back and forth because of a talisman.

    Good to know! I'll have to watch out for that in the future.

    Seems to me the better permanent fix on both items would be....

    A) Eliminate the personnal bless deeds and use the Siege Bless item approach for production shards (i.e,. menu pull-down option for a single blessed item)
    B) Just make all "owned by" talismans as "blessed"​

    Keep it simple. Keep the customers happy. Reduce the burden on in-game support.
