i was bored at 7 am and popped a harrower with just myself online. But then Pebbles logged and i thought just 2 of us why not eh? And i thought it was a blast cause we had a huge fight, until crew and Nrdz started working together :( . In the end though we got the job done and even pulled a shroud of ari. good fighting to all!.......all 4 hours of it :D

Btw when ya dont have anyone on and you get technically what i call level 4 hyloth.. it sucks.. we had more trouble with all the spawn and the harrower more than the fight.

I even in general chat asked for everyone to smile in one of the pics of me in ghost form, but yall didnt say cheese!

looking at the map i detect a bit of dual clienting, so much for A broken hearts stand in general chat yesterday that they would boot out anyone caught with even a battery on a key to play.

Looking at the screenshot i see the map set to six under, but the lower pictures six under seems to be at Cove and yet the person on the screen is fighting the harrowrer, what say you? I say dual clienting somehow, care to share how the cartographer/map shows you in Cove but your in a dungeon? I also notice the lack of toolbars and stratics grabber program here at least shows the top name bar if the tool bar is not shown, makes one wonder..................

You might have missed it, but dual clienting is now totally legal, however there's a disclaimer comes up saying something to the effect of if running 2 instances cooks your processor don't go complaining to them.

erm, simply double click the uo icon on your desktop? I don't use it much myself, but I have used it to transfer pets between characters and to allow my tailor to work with my imbuer to create a luck suit. When I use it, it's only very briefly and both my chars are on the same screen except for the odd occasion when I've taken a 2nd char on a rescue mission after a dead char on my other account. You can't use uoa with the second instance.

odd must have a out of date client, as i start my main with assist and when double clicking the uo icon on my desktop it says to me a instance of ultima online is already running, but thanks for giving me the heads up, I know it is possible to run enhanced client and 2-d but didn't know about 2-d and 2-d

you'll need to start the uoa assisted client first, uoa will still stop you launching a second instance, but the client itself will allow it, with the accompanying disclaimer.

thanks! ill work on that later, but something does strike me odd if one does dual client, doesn't it essentially make at least one that is not up afk? have the afk rules been changed recently also?

No, they haven't. Which is why I only really use it when I am doing something with both characters together. Making a luck suit for my miner first the tailor made the piece, then the imbuer added 100 luck, after which the tailor tried to enhance it, if it broke the process started again. Lots of passing back and forth between the chars standing side by side.

However I have two monitors, so if I need to rescue a 'deadun'. I have the ghost char on my second monitor and the rescuer on the main one. At no time am I not able to see both logged in chars.

That would suck if you just got yourself banned by providing proof against yourself :(. Not really sure how it's macroing though unless you were attacking the harry while on the other client. Who knows. To bad I'm never on anymore to enjoy fighting. Guess I wouldn't have been on at 7 am anyway though. I don't care about pvp THAT much.

Multiboxing is not illegal but Macroing is, and this is considered macroing in UO. If you observe a player using multiboxing please report them and CS will investigate the report, per the TOS.

This message functions as the global reply to the recent discussion we saw on the

The way I read this is if you is running two clients they consider you macroing. Am I right?

No, you are not. You may run multiple clients (per EA's express affirmation). However, you may not use macros or third party programs to concurrently control multiple clients. For example, using one computer to simultaneously cast spells from multiple clients is illegal.

This has been confirmed and affirmed ad nauseam.

So I run two clients at once, have one guy on to rez people in the guard zone and one fighting. Just switch screens when needed?
