Help with Account

    I haven't been to active in UO in months but have kept my account up. Today I went to log in and got the blocked account screen.

    So I went to UO.com to edit account and they changed everything. They ask for a email account now! I always logged in with my uo account name and password.

    Now I cant log in at all. I have no clue as to what to do. I started the account back in 99 so I dont even know what email is attached to it.

    In another post, I asked for a flowchart that would tell you exactly what is required. Absent the chart, you are basically on your own like everyone else. I can't tell you exactly what you have to do, but the new scenario is that you have to have a Master Mythic account. Try setting up a new one. Then within the Mythic account, you have to have an EA account. Within the EA account you finally get to your UO account. It gets real unclear real fast what passwords, emails and such you need to get to your account management page. Good luck.

    Please follow the steps below to re-activate your account for EA online subscription titles:

    1. Go to the account management page
    2. Login with your EA Account name
    3. Confirm your password
    4. Click the Subscription Info tab
    Note: If your Ultima Online account name is different from your EA Member Name, log into the Ultima Online Account Management page and follow the same steps to re-activate your Ultima Online account.

    It's a lot, I know.... for me, I'd just call the 866-543-5435 and hope for a competent customer service rep...... there are far too many posts about 'how to set up your account management' stuff, so if there's an easy way to do it I hope someone posts that for ya


    Larisa, like everything else that's been offered to us, that page, nowhere, that I can see at least, instructs someone that has an Ultima Online account and has no clue about what email, has no idea what a Mythic or EA account is, ... while I understand that it's across all EA games, specific instructions for UO players might have been real handy at the onset of this debacle.. that they overlooked the willingness of the entire Stratics staff to help in any way possible (which they *always* do) beforehand is just mind-boggling

    All I know is my UO account info

    The email attached to the account is dead. The domain is gone. I have had over 20 email accounts since 99 and as for a EA account I don't know or remember.

    I agree Flutter, that they should have been game-specific in the instructions.

    Mythic Master Account is your game account:

    IF you play Ultima Online, your MMA is your UO Account followed by _UO

    IF you play WarHammer, your MMA is your WarHammer Account followed by...I have no clue cus I don't play that :)

    But yes I agree.

    For us UO people, and Lefty, the Mythic Master Account, since ALL Mythic games are now under one *site* is the name of your game account.

    MyUltimaOnlineAccount_UO is how it would look.

    Since your e-mail is now defunct, your only option is to call Customer Support.

    Damn tech support messed up everything. I been on the phone with them for over an hour. Now I have to wait for a Tier 3 tech.

    They should of left UO.com acct mgnt alone.

    Do you remember the username and password you used in the client to play the game ?
    If yes, you do not need the email attached to the account anymore.

    Yeah you could try that.

    On the main Account management page, bottom right you'll see this:

    Don't click on forgot password, this is an older pic. Just put your UO Account name (Mythic Master Account) followed by _uo.

    For example..if you're UO Account name is iwinatuo you would put:

    iwinatuo_uo

    THEN the password associated with that account.

    That SHOULD let you log in to the account management system.
