so i am having some issues with item weight..
it seems you cant add balanced, and 2 hit spells with max ssi on a bow and have damage increase lol..

    so what would be best..

    i can do this
2 hit spells, one 50 and one 30. ie velocity/lightning
    balanced
    30 ssi
    no di

    or

    2 hit spells at 30
    balanced
    30 ssi
    40 di

    what you think?

You are correct with your weight observations. I would opt for 25 SSI and lower DI in favor of 2 high hit spells. You can enhance with ash as I've done on multiple occasions now to create some insane PvP bows.

i made a bow today, composite, 30 ssi, 50 velocity, 34 lightning, balanced..
i tried this bow compaired to my regular bow my pvp archer uses thats
    44 fireball, balanced, 25 ssi, 40 di

the loss of 40 di cuts the power down almost 1/3. :(
(keep in mind tho that currently my pvp archer has 0 di on armor this will change..)

i think i might rework my imbued to
    34 lightning, 30 velocity, 30 ssi, 39 di..

    what do you think?

i can imbue some di in my ring and brace tho..
is 100 di absolutly necessary in pvp?

also would you switch lightning for fireball? the reason why they ended up like they did was i started with SSI, max
then added balanced, then 50 velocity and i was like ehh i cant fit lightning lol

so i lowered di and put on as much as i could.

The Item mods would depend on how much damage the hit spells do when they hit and how much damage a regular hit does(I'd need to know what the DI mod is at with that #). DI can be maxed without weapons, so leaving DI out entirely will probably be the best route to take if possible.

Still wish we had the option to NOT put DI on an exceptional wep.

I agree with the above poster, build DI into your suit.
