I've been trying to get one for my 1997 tower and 1998 castle for about a year. Can someone help me?
I would email [email protected] and see what the appropriate way to submit for the banner is.
In the mean time I would suggest contacting your City Governor and your Event Moderator. The EM should be able to assist you temporarily if you are willing to host a small RPish event with your Governor discussing the history of the structures and celebrating it's birthday showing it's old enough for a banner. If you do that the EM should be able to do something temporary until the actual banner comes in (I'm pretty sure the banner requires dev resources, the EM can only lock something down until the Devs make it permanent).
your suppose to post it in the Historical Housing here on stratics, then from there its forwarded to Mesanna.
thats what i did for mine.
that said i submitted one last week and havnt heard anything about it.
maybe the program is dead?
heres the submitting process
Historical Housing Banners
I'm not sure if the program is dead currently, but I recieved my historical banner about 6 months ago by emailing Petra Fyde the stratics administrator the required information listed in the link Poo posted above, she then forwarded my email to Mesanna, and within 12 hours the banner had been placed. I was extremely impressed at how fast it was handled.
Mesanna said she was still doing it... we just have to give her time with all that she has going it may take a tad bit of time.
They're over-rated..We have one on Siege..house fell or was dropped some time ago, however the sign is still there.
I got mine last week, so it took between 2-3 weed to get it from when i submitted it.
so yes they are still doing them as of July 2014.
I once did three whole weed in College.
