Hit Point Increase Cap

Discussion in 'UHall' started by eccentricjules, Oct 19, 2010.

  1. Is Hit Point Increase really capped at 25?

    I wanted to use an Orc Chieftain Helm, it has 30 Hit Point Increase. What's the point of having an item that is above cap?

    Maybe I am reading the page wrong. I see it under "Derived Stat Bonuses". Any clarification is appreciated!

    Nope, it's correct. The item's kind of a waste. You get better mods all around just crafting imbued armor unless you're just going for the looks of the orc helm.

    I wouldn't say it is a waste. If you want to build a suit with HP regen and HP increase, this item has a good amount of properties.

    In these imbuing days, reaching 25 HP increase is not difficult but you still need to reserve a spot for that property on several items. By reaching the cap with one item, you open the way for other properties on the other items. On top of that the Orc Chieftain Helm has 55 resists and HP regen 3.

    if u want to reach hp regen cap (18) and the hp increase cap (25), best way is bracelet of health (10 hpr, 5 hpi) , crimson cincture (2 hpr , 10 hpi) , voice of the fallen king (5 hpr) , between the rest of the armor just imbue 1 hpr and 10 hpi and you'll be at the cap, im still mad about them reducing the hpr cap down to 18 years ago, my thief was untouchable when i had 40 hpr :(

    For a lower budget suit, the helm is great. I used to think both of them were terrible until i really looked at them. Not going to add it all up now, but even with the 5hpi wasted you still have a helm with higher property weight than you can get with imbuing.

    I use one on my crafter / miner / lumberjack etc as a regen suit. Of course no crimson or really expensive stuff. Heck even to make an imbued helm with those stats would cost more than the around 1.5 mil it costs for the helm, and thats the most expensive thing on his suit other runic armor and weapons (that i wear because he crafted them)

    HP = ((Strength / 2) + 50 ) + (HP Increase)

    Max possible HP = 190...

    150 STR + 25 HP Inc = 150 HP
    +20 Wolf Form Ninjitsu
    +20 Bard Buff (Provo I think ??)
