I wonder if any thought has been given to the idea of some type of book to store
Holiday cards in? I can only assume these will be/are a lock down issue...

I know i have quite a large collection of cards on sonoma & it would be nice to be able to keepsake them VS the Trash Barrel...

    Discuss....?

I store all mine in the trash barrel in the corner of my house. [IMG]
What I would rather see before card books are T map books. But that is probably just me.

We need a new type of container called a shoe box. Then we can do what my mum does IRL and stash all those silly keepsakes, cards and embarrassing photos, in one small place [IMG]

  4. Haha I like that! I want a UO Shoebox!

Sadly though you can add it to the list of other book/containers many have asked for. T-map book, jewelry box, seed container, etc [IMG] It's a good idea though [IMG]

Of course they do. Too many people want it both ways. They want to hoard hundreds or even thousands of additional items at no storage cost.

Tell you what, how about a weapons locker where I can store 500 weapons at no lockdown cost. Ohh and an armour case where I can store 200 suits of armour. At no lockdown cost of course. Or maybe a sweetie box where I can keep my 10 billion sticks of candy that EA were thoughtful enough to give .... at of course .. no extra lockdown cost.

I have the perfect method of storing 10 years worth of rares, mementos, bric-a-brac or whatever the hell the kids are calling it these days.

On one account, no less, in one house!

Whenever I see my storage space dipping below 100, I go through everything and determine what I don't need any more and sell it or throw it away.

Here are some of my decisions:

    Item: Entire Holiday Bust Collection
Rationale: 5 Years Later, they still aint worth a Pickles' Nickel.
    Space Recovered: 86

Item: Countless Event Items (Vorpal Blades, Twilight Lanterns, etc)
Rationale: I need one of the item for my posterity collection, and one more should I choose to sell it later. The rest can go.
    Space Recovered: Thousands.

    Item: Holiday Tree
Rationale: It's obvious OSI is gonna give it out every Xmas anyway (incidentally the only time you can use it), so it's utterly worthless.
    Space Recovered: 20

    Item: Hoarded Flour and Foodstuffs.
Rationale: I made GM Chef. Food is also pointless in UO.
    Space Recovered: 50

    Item: My Mage Scroll Collection.
Rationale: My mage has all the spells in the spellbook. My other characters dont use them.
    Space Recovered: 30

    Item: Soulstone Fragments
Rationale: I have three Soulstones. I'll never need more.
    Space Recovered: 23

And so on and so on.

What we need are some blessed refrigerator magnets. *nods*

  10. what about like a bulliten board we can hang the cards on? You mount it on your wall like the boards we have now, but when double clicked on it opens up like a container and you can put the cards on it however you like. If you aren't the house owner you can still open it up and look at the cards, but can't manipulate them.

    anyone like this idea?

It's simple. Open another account and place the biggest giant box of a house you can and just use that for storage. When that one is full of holiday cards and gray ophidian ham and snowglobes with snowy scenes... then just do it all again.

  12. I would put that way on the bottom of the list of things to do, stop giving out so many items in the gifts would be better and no more bacon or cards or snow or trees or anything that we already have trillions of.

My cards are always stored in the trash barrrel, I don't think they should create storage for an item few people keep, especially one that has no use.
