Also what is needed to cast ressurection with scrolls?
I've always heard 60...la
It's less than that....I think a scroll makes it something like 20 points easier? If not more. And you can cast 7th at around 70s. And in reality, I think scrolls make it far easier than that, like 30 pts.
60 is for doing it consistent
50 you can do it
All of my chrs. here can *gate* but earlier on, with all of them they could gate with 50s magery and gate scroll fizzling from time to time. At 60.0 magery they fizzled less. Two of my 4 went on to elder magery but the other two still are and will remain at 61.0 magery... I have my scribe make em scrolls, and they gate all over. My scribe and my carpenter are 115. magery now so no need for any scrolls for those two..but the other two, never upped their magery, QZ can NOT really res anybody at 61, once or twice miraculously with res scroll she did after lots of fizzling.
But IF I really wanna res someone here, I will always use my other two elder maged chrs. Hughes of Gray scribe chef, or Miranda the carpenter, to res. whom do not need any res scroll to res. peeps. Just goes better and faster with them 2 of my 4 chrs. to res others here.
Point is resing peeps, they dead they want alive realitively soon, you do not want to fizzle fizzle and fizzle again, while they are waiting patiently or impatienly...just to see color again... If ya really want to res peeps here best to have magery high enough to do it first try and getter done for them ( if game mechanics permits the res).
Gating with lower magery and scrolls np...resing...ya trying to do someone a favor and fizzling over a corpse, as time passes while ya still fizzlin even trying to use res scroll,. .........just does not cut it, cuz they are dead and their body is decaying somewhere. So to me time is more the essence to succeed over someone's corpse here, rather than failing or succeeding at merely poppin a gate.
