[Bushido] How to honor an enemy (for perfection)

Discussion in 'UO Warrior' started by Johnny Powerhead, Nov 10, 2008.

  1. I say "I Honor Thee" and get a cursor. If I click a monster it says you can only honor people. If I click myself it says "You flatter yourself". What am I doing wrong?

You need to set up a macro for "invoke virtue" then "honor".

Then you get the cursor and can target monsters with it.

You can also do it from the star-with-circles icon on the top of your paper doll (in 2d, I'm not sure about KR), but that takes longer and adds extra junk to your screen that you really don't need or want.

I think, the statement "I honor thee" was originally created to transfer (positive) Karma to other players. This means, if you target another player after saying "I honor thee", some of your Karma will be transfered to him, if his Karma is lower than yours.

(I could be wrong on this.)

Once you work up your honor level you can also honor yourself. This allows you to walk past monsters for a short time without being attacked. The higher your honor level, the longer you can go without being attacked.

You can honor yourself in PvP and get a 25% damage increase if you have bushido. Not sure if that is STILL the case.

But, if you are red you are out of luck. Bushido or not...no bonus.
