I am working tactics on a golem. I'm using a 100% poison wep but my golem is not "prepatch". How does one keep the golem alive? I sat here and hit on it for 30 minutes and had to tell it to stop or I was going to kill it.. is there a trick behind this? I know somewhere there is a way to heal the golem with a tinker or ingots or something, but what if that is not an option on my char, is there a way to heal it?
  2. 2 ways to heal it without a tinkererererererrrrrrr.......

sit and wait for it to heal by itself or use the spellweaving spell Gift Of Life or Gift of Renewal.....I forget which one it is.....whichever one gains life back ever few seconds.....
  3. I tried using a plain weapon on lvl 1 shame until I got to gm. Worked as good and/or better than a golem.

Healing the golem with a tinker is incredibly easy, all u need is the amount of skill u can buy from an npc tinker if your char has a full template simply get a soulstone frag and remove a skill that is not necessary for the skill you are gaining in while fighting the golem, then when training is done swap them back. Even at this low level you will repair enough to keep training indefinetly so just sit back and hit your macro button when your macro runs out (if you have uo assist use record a macro, use the tinker tool select the appropriate menu (repair) target the golem then insert a pause for time required between repairs and repeat! then end record and simply hit the macro button whenever the macro runs out!)
  5. 1. Tinkerer.
    2. Wait for it to regen.
    3. Use a slower weapon. (if your using something with like a 2s delay it doesn't go down)
    4. Gift of renewal. (human jack of all trades is enough to use this - but you must do the quest)
    5. Noble sacrifice. (doesn't look llike it makes it go up but it does... only really an option if you can't use renewal & have decent enough mods equipped - lots of MR/lmc)
