I just revived one of my accounts after six years away. UO has certainly changed but I have to say I am digging it.

I am using the new client, an with some tweaks to my resolution- brightness etc. I have to say it really looks good. I could not get the classic client to display properly on my 1920x1200 monitor.

Anyhoo, Siege is still here! Unfortunately I don't know if many players are. I have seen a max of two or three people on at once. Can someone tell me where people congregate?http://vboards.stratics.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
The boards refer to Luna but it seems a ghost town- Britain is empty- the moongates are not covered in corpses..very sad.

On the up side I found a beautiful house spot to spend my fortune. (70K in bank) That was a lot 6 years ago but judging from the homes I see it is not much anymore.

I am Legendary Smith, GM Tinker, Miner, and Alchy, Lumber is almost GM. I have a vendor at the NW corner of Makoto city, just at the corner of the outer ring of roads. (if I am spelling that right?) It is an amazingly beautiful spot with a little park right in front. It is strange to see such a pretty spot on Siege.

Anyway- hello! come on by. I just have a few basics on the vendor now but will keep expanding as I get settled.

Almost all of siege has stealth on there chars. Id say we average 20 people at peak times. Show up to the next EM event, and watch people come out in the open.

    Welcome back!

Lots of people don't congregate together, because that just invites thieves/murderers. However things aren't as active around here as we'd like. That's not to say there's enough of a population where a good crafter can make a fine living off a well stocked vendor mall.

I would suggest joining a guild...get with an active guild and you would be surprised at how many people you find on at all times

Hello all, 20! wow there used to be twenty people just at the bank. Aaa well thats ok. I am a lowly crafter anyway. Better to get to know the customers.

    Shurikens- will do.

*chuckles* It is not all that bad. Several months ago Sieve was crying about the mighty gank guilds roaming the the lands. Now, no one is visible.

Several months ago people hated Luna, and wished people would not go there. Now, Luna is a ghost town.
