I'll have to admit I haven't played much in the last year or so. I still keep an account open and log in every once in a while. I have a few houses and I have been doing the open an account for one month/close it for three months or so.

Well, last weekend I logged in and noticed a couple of my houses were decaying. One in particular was greatly worn. So I re-opened those accounts, but was worried about the greatly worn one. I had lost a house in the past when it went IDOC before it was refreshed during maintenance (or however that is supposed to work). Not a problem, I think. I'll just trade the house between two accounts I had open. Well, what do you think happens? It won't let me trade them. I get a message I have to wait 160 hours or so to trade. I'm very annoyed at this point. I haven't traded or placed a house in probably a year, and it won't let me trade my greatly worn house.

To make a long story short, I ended up trading it with my account that had been open. I even paged a GM about the issue and I just got the message "you'll have to wait before you can trade a house". They didn't even bother to listen to what my issue was.

So has anyone else encountered this problem? I don't think it should have been an issue at all. Was there some sort of changes made to "just opened" accounts and house trading/placement?

Well, I know that they made it so trial accounts couldn't place... maybe there was a snafu with that?
