Will you travel with me noble creature?

It would be mutually benefical if were to join forces

I can protect you from the dangers of this world

I promise to take good care of you

If you accompany me, we will protect one another

These are all lies because all I am going to do is tame the pet, gate to zoo and transfer him. The poor creature believed all my BS lies and end up confined to a prison. We should be able to change the generic taming writing in order to tell the animal the truth

"Will you give me a taming gain noble creature?"
"It would be mutally benefical for you to be tamed so I dont get angry and kill you"
"I will protect you from the dangers of this world but giving you a life sentence to the moonglow zoo"
"I promise to take good care of you for the 30 seconds I have control of you"
"If you accompany me, I will give you a fruit and gate you to zoo"

You're doing one better than I. I used to release them and kill them. I actually wrote a short story about that very thing... ;)

Yeah this has always bugged me too for some reason. Honestly, I wish there were another way to train taming aside from killing your tames or giving them to the zoo. It bothers what small shreds remain of the RPer inside me.

I like it, except for the part about being an Elf....Elfs are ghey :p

  5. I've been getting back in touch with my inner-RPer. It does make things interesting. I'm having more fun now though than I did doing things for sole benefit purposes.

And one more quick one...Please stand still and let me tame you so I can give a ridiculous name like "stupid" or "weenie" and park you at the bank for hours on end while I chat with my friends. Sit still and deal with it!

Lol, I share your disease, DVDA. "I will protect you from the dangers of this world," right before I energy bolt them. I don't even bother to release them first, as Llewen is kind enough to do.

Actually, as you can tell by how underpopulated the zoo is relative the size of contributions over the years, the animals "donated" are actually being sent elsewhere.

The zookeeper tells me that thanks to gem of immortality technology, the animals are actually being sent to an uninhabited copy of our world that is an untouched paradise where they and their descendants will be free to frolic clear of the hunters of our land. So rest assured, you are not lying to them, they are going to a better place.

Really Maplestone? I thought the zoo keeper took our tames and chopped them up to feed the displayed animals

No wonder GMs can never answer our questions or provide any help they are too busy answering all these animal's pages about losing their stuff (Hay, dung, gold coins) on their home shard.

I'm sure all the lambs I took down the road to the nice man with the cleaver collection during my childhood are in a better place now.

I was gonna refer to your post when I read the post title :D

Very good style! And leaves an greater impact compared to a positive story.

  17. ... then you chop up the corpse and use Black Sun's BBQ sauce, slow roast until the meat falls off the bones. This works for real life critters too... bow season starts tomorrow!

Smoking work equally as well as slow roasting. Gives it a nicer flavor.

Jeez, i thought i was the only one feeling a tad guilty about this. After i begg them to join my party and explaining to them how we both will have a great time ahead, i quickly release them and have the rest of my creatures jump the poor thing...aaaannnnnddddd then i am off to find another one to trick and back stab.

I suggest that as they see their life flashing before their eyes that they turn to you saying " what was all that lovie dubby talk about?!"
