Training bowcraft sucks.
That is all.
Did it. It does.
Can't think of any training that didn't suck, as I think about it.
When you get full of bows run out and kill yourself and get resed. It easyer than pulling all bows out of you pack.
hehe i camped out at luna trash barrel till about 50 bowcraft till i was like screw this and just started killing myself. made it much more bearable.
Agreed a great tip, I used it as well for tinkering.
Get materials, get tools, get bag. Put materials and tools in bag, fill bag up with useless stuff, throw bag away? That don't work no more?
Yes it does
I do the same thing for filling bod ect ect
I always put all the materials and tool in a bag in my pack and craft...with most things the crafted item then ends up in the bag, then at some point I dump the bag in the trash. However a few annoying things pop into the top level of your pack, I think cooking items were the worst for this. Grrrrrr....
*edit* LOL missed Mr. X's post.
I keep only the materials in the bag. Tools stay in my main pack. Why would I put them in the bag to try and fish them out of a pile of 66 bows at the end? Plus it lowers the amount of boards I can put in the nested pack, making me refill it more often...I have a tendency to fill the bag to its max before trashing it. It's the environmentalist in me coming out in UO I guess...
I don't understand that part, why not keep tools in main bag?
Side note, 56.9 and counting, and I'm starting to lose what sanity I have left...
Turn in the bows as you make them. A heartwood runic will get you 10 million or more.
Whats the npcs name that takes em? Do I need a special quest? Do I have to go through 50 menus to get it? Is there a bank nearby?
screw that, lol, I just talked myself out of that idea
Another side note: Which is it? I do not have sufficient wood, or I have worn out my tool?
It seems one would preclude the other, but I'm not sure which...?
I did mine to 70 by doing Heartwood quests, took a bit longer but I got an oak and a yew fletching kit out of it
good news once you get to 60 doing bows it goes easier..can go from 60-70 in about 2 hrs doing x bows..I'm doing like someone above suggested..using a pack and putting wood/tool in it..then putting pack in secures i have set aside to hold em..i can put 2 full packs in 1 secure..when i get time i wll xfer to main pack and go turn in for heartwood quests..did this all the wya to 60s with bows and still no runic but hopefully one will appear sometime
You are a crafter killing yourself perpares you for the fact that you are going to die a lot anyways.
you can always write a script and use that its illegal but hey what uo dont know cant hurt it lol.
