I hope Devs soon will start to ansvar the "Ask The Devs", think that would help my mood.
Yeah I want to know when they are going to put my idea of rideable gorillas with crafted banana cannons strapped to their heads into operation!
I'd like any communication at all at this point.
I wanna craftable banana cannon too!
LOL The thought of riding a gorilla just makes me laugh for some reason.
Now youre just being Silly!!!
Everyone know that the Banana Cannon does not fit on their head
yeah thats in my pocket....
probably after SA they took a long vacancy
or EA is working on the dev team and we will see new faces around
Cal or anyone from the DEV team need to seriously post and tell us, the players whats going on.
Being kept in the dark is just making people jumpy and leave it too long people will leave...
So Devs... Speak up, tell us whats happening...
Cal... We're paying your wages, show us some respect and start talking to us!
Oh, please. Cal did his job like most producers have in years past by throwing out a letter then spending two days on the forums being chatty. He can now go back into lurk mode or ignoring us completely. I mean, that's how it has always been. rolleyes:
It never changes.
It's all a part of negotiations. They have people get laid off, if they show that they can do the same amount of work with less people then they have no chance of getting anyone back. If the community complains for lack of customer support and customer relations, then they have a chance of rehiring people and an even better chance of not losing even more people.
Please stop this about EA and Cal in this thread.
I don't want my thread locked.
My point with this thread is only, to say, that we miss FOF and hope we soon will see a few reply in the Ask The Devs forum.
I agree... I miss FoF... but the new forum looks promising. I'm sure that next week.. now that Thanksgiving has passed.. we will see some of the questions being answered there. In essence... that forum is a better idea from the FoF because it will allow more questions to be answered. I know I have posted questions several times to FoF and never receive an answer. Maybe now... we'll see.
I'm just discussing how it has been handled in the past and that this, I'm sure is no different (imo, of course).
You can't get a thread locked by discussing such things. Calm down.
Well, you see, it's like this.
There's more than one way of working. There's the business like 'do it when it gets to the top of your 'to do' list'. When people are used to this approach they ask for things several days, or even weeks before they want them. EA is a business - yes?
Then there's the 'Petra' way: 'Do it now, because if you put it off you'll go and darn well forget to do it at all'.
Which is how you end up with the new forum up and ready to go within 24 hours instead of after the holidays. My bad.
Not your bad Petra, the new forum do give us hope and yes, it may turn out to be much better than the FOF.
Ha! It figures you would have it up and ready to go pronto. Here I thought you were rushed and wondered why *cheesy grin* At least the questions are ready to go for next week!
you are assuming EAMythic just means the thanksgiving holiday and not the entire holiday season (ie christmas and new years)
I dont see any posts in the Ask the Dev forum other than the FAQ post. Am I missing something?
From the forum:
So when the devs answer the questions that's then will they be viewable. So hopefully the devs will start answering some soon.
Thanks Viper! That'll teach me to read the FAQ's *grins*
maybe they are not doing the fof because they are fixing the real problems with ultima online
