    I only received this on 2 out of 7 active accounts. Each of the active accounts that did NOT receive the free game time were logged on to Atlantic during the revert time frame. Two of which own a house on Atlantic, but did not receive the free game time. 2 out of 3 accounts who received the time were on the same master account. The other 4 were on different master accounts. I have not contacted any GMs or the support team as of yet.

    Has anyone else already discovered their free game time? I am wondering if they are adding it one account at a time, or if this is all I will receive.

    Players who know me, know I was greatly effected by this revert. Even so, I am still hopeful, and I have faith in Mesanna and the UO Staff to do the best the can in a bad situation. I do hope after everyone has been helped to the best of their ability, they will clarify what went wrong. I can only imagine how terribly upset they are particularly this close to Christmas. I wish everyone the best of luck.

    How do you get the free gametime?

    I paged a GM in game who said I would get an email about it. Nothing yet. My sub normally goes out of my account on 21st of the month.

    I just paged a gm told them i lost gameplay/items from the revert and got a response.. said thanks for your appeal, the 30 days of free gametime will be applied over the next few days..

    Nails, can you explain what you did to get the free time to help out others. On the first post you say you have it on 2 out of 7 accounts, then you replied to me saying you don't know. - I'm confused.

    I paged a GM who said check email. I check email and nothing, spam nothing, check the EA / mythic site and my card has been charged as normal. No sign of 30 days free. #sadpanda

    As with the transfered characters, this will require patience. Someone has posted that the time will be applied automatically - but first they must verify entitlement. Don't worry if you've just been charged, the comp time will follow on from that.

    I think that some of the confusion perhaps is because it is not clear what the boundaries to be entitled for the 30 days are.

    Does it depends on how often an account has logged on Atlantic ? Or perhaps on how long ?

    I mean, since it is not possible to prove that items were lost, and since the loss may have occurred even for a short log in, that means that any account logging in after December 5th on Atlantic, even once and for a short time (the limited time to get a trade done) may be eligible ?
    Another example, the Christmas gifts. Say that an account has logged Atlantic past December 5th to claim the gifts and received rare infested trees, after the revert when claiming the gifts this time there was no infested tree any longer. Clearly, there has been a loss of item(s) due to the revert. Would such an account be eligible for the 30 days bonus ?

    I think some more clarity on the boundaries for eligibility would help.

    I might be mistaken, but wouldn't it have gone down as usual for daily maintenance? 33 minutes ago (ie: the time you posted at) is roughly 5:20am EST.

    The only thing I have to offer is my own logical deductions. They're proved to be relatively accurate so far, it's entirely up to you how accurate you think I am on this.
    1. This decision is EA corporate - ie Accounts, not the Devs.
    2. Pixels have no value from the accountants' point of view, only time does.
    3. Decisions will be made by time logged in to the server. Even casual Atlantic players will measure their gametime over the past 2 weeks in hours. Cross shard traders will measure their's in minutes.
    Deduction. People who have logged in for x number of hours will receive the game time.

    Probably not the answer you want, so feel free to totally disagree with me. Only time will either prove, or disprove my theory.

    I sincerely didn't do anything for myself yet which is why I posted this thread asking if anyone else did. I planned on doing something, but was helping others first, and waiting for results on their end.

    My point was not about indicating what criteria I feel would be the most right, but only to point that perhaps players' confusion is because the boundaries are not clear as to what will eventually grant the 30 days for the Atlantic Revert.

    From your reply I seem to understand that the loss for items might be totally irrelevant for the bonus and that perhaps the criteria will be only time logged in on Atlantic.

    If so, what will be the time to trigger the bonus ? How much time logged in over what time frame ?

    Since I read posts of players wondering why some have received the bonus and why some others not, I just tried to understand whether there is some certainty about what will make the bonus be applicable and what not.

    Also, does the bonus come in automatically without the owner of the account need to do nothing ? Just check the e-mail and if there is a message then the bonus has been granted if not this means there will be no 30 days bonus ? Or is it necessary to first page a Game Master in game in order to get the 30 days bonus ?

    No criteria have been issued - and nor is there any obligation to do so. I suggest everyone just wait and see. The process is not yet complete, some have received it, some will receive it before the process is complete and some won't receive it. If you qualify you'll get it, and if you don't, you won't. Simple.

    Now I may be wrong but there are posts in the other thread that people are getting these without doing anything, so maybe UO is looking at a log-in log to see who logged in and what shard they logged in to. What a concept to use data they have to make sure the right people are getting the right stuff. Keep up the good work Petra and remember logic is a good thing.

    How about you logged into Alt. shard and they have the log-in records to prove it you get the 30 days and if you didn't you don't. LOGIC strikes again.

    I have one account that I pay month-to-month. I have been online the last two weeks. I had no major losses except for some really good artifacts I had found dungeon crawling and had sold on my vendor, I lost 8 days of TIME growing 36 plants. Oh and my buddy Hans needs to remake the PERFECT armor he made for me last Saturday. My account was credited this morning with 30 days credit.

    I have gotten the month of January credited to every account I have logged into ATL on recently.
    Additionally it says my CC will be billed normally in February (thank goodness) so it looks like they are working hard to get everyone credited.
    4 of my 5 accounts are credited. I don't recall if I logged in with the 5th account during the downtime so I'm not complaining.

    I regularly play 2 of my 6 accounts on Atlantic. Those 2 accounts, got a month credit.

    Didn't really lose anything, just some fish and a quest. I didn't ask for the credits they just appeared today.

    Personally, I would give the credits back just to keep my billing on track. Once a month, one account pays for 6 months. I'd contact EA about giving them back, but I'm too afraid that a CC would get dropped or some issue that would screw up the billing worse.

    I do appreciate the quick response from EA. I really wasn't expecting anything from them. Others faired far worse than I.

    As I posted in the rollback thread, I checked my accounts this morning. Two of the three I actively played on Atlantic, the third I don't even have any characters there. The first two accounts were credited for game time, the third was not. My guess is that anyone who logged into Atlantic in that time period will get credited.

    8 accounts all linked under 1 master account. 6 of those have characters on ATL but only 3 received 30 day credit. No email, just saw it in acct mgmt.

    I noted many of my accounts got the credit but some didn't... Personally I'd have preferred to have been sent a code or some such in email... since now after spending the last year or two sorting back out from the silly account management debacle I am now all messed up in my billing cycles again and if I incur charges from my bank because EA has screwed up my billing cycles and will now be billing me for 2 6month charges in the same month totally borking my schedule of payments again it'll cost me more than they gave me in charges for them bouncing my account... and billing out of sequence.

    I have 6 accounts that bill once every month for 6 months and 3 that bill once a month for 3 months..... so each month I have one six month and one three month charge.... It's taken me forever to get it all straight again and now it's going to be forked over again... Personally I'm rather unhappy about it.

    I wouldn't be if they had given the credit to all 9 accounts..... then it'd still be fine..... but NOOOO they only gave it to 5 of them....

    I logged into my one and only account and saw the credit. I did nothing at least that I know of to get it. Atlantic is pretty much the only shard I play on.

    I think all you had to do was log into Atlantic during that time to get the credit. 4 of my 7 accounts received the credit. And all 4 of those accounts logged into Atlantic. Only 1 of the other 3 logged into Atlantic, but did not receive the credit as of yet.

    I did log in on all of those accounts..... at least a couple three times. I logged in and out on all of my accounts a few times.....

    I received the free gametime on one account, although I play Atlantic on two. Only logged into the account that didn't receive gametime briefly to transfer items though, so maybe it's based on time spent in game in that period?

    I have received a one month gametime on both of my accounts, although I have played one of them for less than an hour (on Atlantic) only to swap some stuff. The main account has been played on for several hours (accounts are linked to two separate master accounts, btw).
    As my loss was quite insignificant compared to others, I have never contacted anyone for a claim. I assume they apply it to all accounts which have been logged on during the time period in question, unregarded for how long they have been played on.

    That's my guess as well Lord Obsidian..... I don't think they have any idea the impact of what they did. Likely this will cost me more than it saves as now my billing is all messed up and I'm likely to incur some lovely fees from my bank for bouncing the 60+ a couple times when they try to bill 2 6's in the same month again. It took me forever to fix all this the first time they messed up all my billing. When does it become more of a hassle than it's worth? I didn't really lose anything except the one or two Mesanna Poinsettias and I didn't ask to be compensated.

    I suppose I should be happy for the free gametime but honestly I'd have preferred a code I could have given to someone who did lose more than I.

    All 5 of my 5 accounts got the 30 day game time credit. That makes sense since Atlantic is my primary shard and I used all of my accounts during the affected period. I personally still would like to see a character-bound 10.0 pt SOT for a skill of our choice, but the game time is noted. Maybe I will buy 2 mythic character tokens in the Origin store with the money to make it a wash... or maybe 5 soulstones. Hmmm... decisions, decisions.

    So... no idea if I have received the time credit or not. :(
    This is my second attempt over the last couple days. How much later should I be trying?
    Last time I needed help from tech support for an issue with the master account and used the email system it was completely and utterly useless.

    This is beyond frustrating and the lack of communication I've seen from the UO team may prove to be the straw that broke this veteran's back.

    The only thing I can suggest to folk with screwed up billing plans is, set the money aside in the month it should have come out and keep it in the bank ready for the bill coming later. :(

    That's well and good but my budget is pretty tight... and having two 6 months try to come out at the same time will NOT work. I wish I could buy a 30day game time for the ones that didn't get the bonus so I could apply those to the others and keep them all in line... but they only seem to sell 3 month ones. Not really what I need.

    Wow!! I am truly impressed!

    I have a character that I use to go get items from other shards using Shard Shield transfers. I had transferred to Atlantic prior to the revert, and I got one month free game time credited to my account...pretty cool, IMO.

    Thanks for taking care of me when I hadn't even complained, Dev Team or whoever did this wonderful thing!!
