    Hello everybody,

    I have to talk again about the incoming pvp changes:

    1) players should NOT be able to have poisoning with Necromancy:

    The effect of omen + poison is clearly overpowered

    Tbh necro mage with poisoning will be overpowered

    2) apples should NOT fail to remove curse

    3) purge magic should be able to remove animal form again

    4) good that they fixed the sdi to 30 from items

    You need to clarify more.

    The issue isn't with Necro and Poisoning. It is with necro, poisoning, and magery.

    It is a pain.. I ran through about 15 cure pots in a matter of 6 minutes on test.

    This is what PvP will be now. People will either be a nox dexer spamming infectious draining you of cures, or they will be necro/nox/mages spamming poison on you until you run out of pots.

    I think it is awesome to get harm spammed to death when you're level 5 poisoned and out of pots.

    yes ofc, I meant magery poisoning and necromancy...

    Tbh it's Overpowered now...

    Hopefully they gonna fix it and turn it down a bit before publishing it or they ruin pvp. Poisoning is OP atm...

    The ability to exploit create food should also be handled while the revamp is going. I would suggest a rearming timer for those who use this for anything other than the INTENDED purpose.

    If devs. are not aware of this issue they should consider it. Every dexxer in fel is running around using this now...

    and a timer on para spam, every mage and his dog is using it these days

    There are currently two solutions to your problem.

    1) resist
    2) trapped box

    If you don't use either, then you are to blame.

    If this is correct (especially as modified/clarified by Lynk and others) then let us hope that this is the reason the changes haven't been live-published yet, because this and perhaps other issues are being worked on.

    And if the changes are published without addressing this, then we shall soon find out if it is correct or not, one way or another!

    I think the mysticism bandwagon is pulling up along side the newly remodeled poison bandwagon and everyone's waiting to jump in! PVP is so much fun...:wall:

    A Mystic is less potent than a pure mage is now. After the pub...even moreso.

    The poisoning issue is a big one btw on necros.

    How much poisoning are you throwing on your TC necro-nox-mage templates?

    This is simply a workaround for a lack of a feature that is available on enhanced client and so necessary to balance the game.

    The real problem is Evil Omen negating Resist. It's that simple. With nothing more than Human JoAT, my Nox Mage can Evil Omen someone, then Lethal Poison them with no chance to Resist it, even with 120.0 Real Resist. EO negating Resist has been a problem ever since AoS came out. EO+Poison, EO+Mana Vampire, EO+Paralyze, etc.

    Evil Omen cuts resistspell in half, or adds 25% sdi. Either way it's been the "best" reason to play necro for a long time, I have a nox mage with 60 necro no spiritspeak just for evil omen. So to act like the changes made this a viable temp is bull because I have been playing it for awhile, and I know a couple other people who play it.. As for poison strike doing poison it's not a big deal, reason is you can't do high level poison unless you are close, and who is going to stand right next to someone and spam poison strike? You are going to wither...

    Also Evil Omen is rather expensive, and can be countered. Now an EO Poison may be hard, but EO Para if it's not synched can be negated threw a box, or weaken/harm yourself as the EO gets on.. as for the synching.. not much you can do there other then a box because it's a gank. I've gotten mad many times over the EO Para + dreads. It is negated threw a box :D.

    I still think there should be a timer on potions and keep them working the way they are currently, where 1 cure pretty much negates poison. A constant chug of them is stupid, same with refresh. I run 10 dex on almost all of my toons because there is no reason to pump stats into dex on a mage just for stam blocks when you can chug red pots non stop. If you can't chug heals non stop why can you chug cures and reds?

    Also does anyone know how Alchemy will effect these cure pot changes? I am curious about it, I would love to see Alchemy or Taste Id being used again.

    Almost positive alchemy and enhance pots have no current effect on cure chance.

    Has anyone tested 120 healing skill versus a noxxer? Three-four second cures with bandages. Nox should own Mystic casters, which is the intention.

    dont forget evil omen+curse

    wait till your getting ganked and you get one guy spamming omen on you... and his buddy who is a pure sribe mage Flmestriking you to the moon. its nuts how they keep buffin up the mage over and over, adding more and more spell classes.

    alot of people wont go with the pure templates cause they are mages with...

    spellweaving, necro, magery , mysticism allready....
