Can we get something new for almost forgotten Dragon Scale Armor?
    • Its hard to make.
    • Its not given as loot.
    • There are no artifacts with same look.

I have only two simple requests:
    1. Allow imbuing any Dragon Scale Armor. Right now its always made from special material, so not possible to imbue.
    2. Grant Dragon Scale Armor Set (5 pieces) unique property. Only when full set present from pieces made using same scales color:
    • +15 resist cap depend on scale color (fire resist for red scales for example)
    • +20 resist bonus depend on scale color
    • -10 resist cap for remaining resists
    • -20 resist cap for opposite main resist (cold resist for red scales for example)

For example, green scales dragon set, not exceptional, will have 3/0/3/13/3 resists per piece. Full set with set bonus will be 15/0/15/85/15 and resists capped at 60/50/60/85/60. On top of this you can have arms lore and exceptional bonuses and any other imbued mods.

Any ideas for yellow scales set bonus (20 luck per piece)? Maybe +1000 luck and no resists tweaks?

maybe im missing something but isnt that how it used to be?
each armor had its own base.. like red scales had alot of fire. white was cold and black was phy. they were high like in the 30s.
so the armor was like 3/30/3/3/3 and yellow was luck, 100.. if i remember.. but no phy so it was 0/3/3/3/3/3

my crafter on napa has a full suit of yellow scale armor..

Hmm. Idea is to make exclusive armor set with massive boost in one resist. Over generic 70 cap. Compensate it in opposite resist.

Those ideas sound good. A set property would be great. Perhaps 20 Luck per piece for gold scales, 150 per piece if the full set is present.

The gold scales IMHO are rubbish.

The color is off, the luck mod is substandard and if you go for luck you are woefully unervalued on resist mods.

I would propose making dragons drop regular scales, ie scales with no special properties at all, or better yet have all dragons drop mostly regular scales and 20 percent of their drop would be the color scale appropriate that would then allow for modification and imbueing and enhancement through the other colors of scales. Then beef up the appearance (paragon gold) of the gold white and blue scales to be in line with our existing staining system, and for Pete's sake give the gold scales a minimum of 40 luck if you aren't going to give it some other property.

  6. my proposal for dragon scale armor:

increase overall difficulty slightly (at least moreso than samurai armor)
increase resources needed to craft, have it require ingots + scales once again.
ingot and dragonscale bonuses would stack, which would give dragonscale a base resist of up to 35 for unexceptional armor if crafted with valorite. yellow scale would add 20 luck, which could be combined with golden ingots to make 60 luck pieces, up to 160 luck runic crafted, with of course less resists.

give blacksmiths an armor set to rival the darkwood set. it can be called the dragoon armor set (after the chaos dragoons that debut the dragonscale armor years back).
