Since we have code to generate named items properties from 12 “packages” of item properties, add same packages to runic tools. This could be implemented via crafting talismans.

Say, you obtain talisman with +14% Mighty and +27% of Restoration, so you have increased chance to roll properties from "Strength and Hit Point" and "Regeneration" packages if you equip it before using runic tool (any type). Talisman can hold only one prefix plus one suffix, crafted item should be named according talisman properties.

Leave properties insensitivity as it now, just add more chances to roll desired properties.

Talismans can be added to quest rewards or new monsters loot (called "tenacious Elite MOBs")

do we really need more stuff to make things more complex?

i still think when you make an item with a runic you should get a menu with check boxes.

say you make a weapon and the menu opens up and it has ssi, hml, hsl, everything a weapon can have on it.

then you select the amount you get pics for (based off runic type) and the system gets to choose the intensity (based off random number and runic type).. very easy and straight forward.

    NO! lol both bad ideas!

This system is great mainly because it will bring people to shame to hunt and not just to kill stuff but to check the corpse and look at the things.

Too long has it gone on that things have been killed and noones even bothered to take the gold. Can you ever remember a time in AOS that you saw piles of gold on the floor because people cant be bothered to pick them up?

I agree however the introduction of imbuing and now these new items have firmly nailed bods, runics, and most crafting skills to there death which is a massive shame.

Personally id like to see bods be removed they are so cumbersome and resource intensive. Maybe devise a new use for runics, ancient hammers and pofs?

Whatever the outcome it should allways be possible to get better items from loot. Thats not to say on a regular occurance!
  4. The new loot is from a place we don't know.

We don't have the know how to craft it.
