Ideas/Questions For Future UO

    Will things like Conflaglaration potions and fields ever mold themselves to the contours of the terrain? cause that would be greaaat...

    It would be nice if then throwing potions or targeting places to mine or land spells, that if what you target is invalid (to far away, not a viable target, out of site) that instead of having to start over, you just get the target back and can try again, if you want to drop the target cursor you can always hit escape.

    No one has been depositing blackrock into my bank box. Whats the deal with that? Lets get on this one stat.

    You know whatelse would be cool?
    a working spam catcher. the current one just queues your spam.

    Will gargoyles be met with extreem racism like in old ultimas?

    It would be nice to not have your screen jerk/char move delay/whatever when you your running in a fight and hit something with and the hit spell goes off.

    Buy new servers.

    Hire me as an EM.

    Orcs dont spawn with the name Zog enough.

    Return wisp to how they were when UO came out.
    Smart, Random, Powerful. They used to speak, heal people, and I remember rumors of them taming creature and giving them wisp names and releaseing them.

    its been 10000 years now. let people use space when giving pets names.

    please god give dungeon monsters a line of sight check when they target. ruins the dungeon experiance when they all just horde up on a wall buffing themselves.
    Then after that, give NPC's for hire, escort, and player pets the AI some monsters have that allow them to pathfind efficiantly. and PLEASE, the ability to run.

    Is the ability to submit UOpro Apps still available. how does one do that?

    it would be cool to let people link their accounts together thru UO.com or ingame.
    then when ingame if the two accounts have homes very near to eachother, they can use housesigns to link them ingame. and for each home linked to the same playertown you earn points towards developing a town. roads or paths could be made connecting front doors, three houses all pathed together, and you can place a fountain. after enough homes linked you can place lanterns to light the path. you can use points to place hedges or benches. Players town look like nothing. you could run thru the largest player town in malas and never know it.

    Buy better servers.

    The whole z-axis of UO seems to be a big can of worms.

    KR allows you to add spaces to pet names.

    There have been hints the NPCs in the gargoyle lands will have richer lives ... if so, and if true, perhaps things can work backwards if it proves successful.

    the role of 3rd party apps has been replaced with the ability to create custom skins in KR - no need for UOpro apps any more.

    Someday down the road, I think it would be cool to have "customizable islands/dungeons" where you wouldn't be restricted to just a house but could customize everything. Alas, aside from the server issues, a major problem is that KR chokes on encountering too many dynamic structures (alas Mag was a good demonstration of this).

    Nice.

    But im pretty sure my program can do things that KR doesnt.
    Its mainly designed for RPers.

    Just thought of this one while fighting.
    an option for Daemons not to turn into a massive grey blob when they aggro would be nice.
    it there a way to do this? like a certian hue i set for greys?
