[Necromancy] Im going full mage with necro

    For 3 mill i can get 120 necro is is nessisary to go 120? also 120 spellweaving and 120 mystisisum also 120 eval and 120 med 120 ss

    I won't comment on the rest of the template since someone who has been using mysticism already can comment. People's opinions differ. Most will say 105 is enough skill and that 120 is not necessary.

    If you are a career mage and will frequently use necro in this template or other templates (e.g. necro-mage), then there is no reason not to go 120.

    If you just want to go to 120 for the "legendary necromancer" title and have the points, go for it. I will say, though, that at 110 necro, the only spell you don't cast 100% is vamp form...and that spell doesn't expire, so there's really no need to cast over and over.

    My opinion is that 110 is enough, but like Dio said, if you've got the points, I spose there's no reason not to.

    Necro does not affect damage of any spells. It affects the success chance. 106 Necro is all you need to cast strangle 100% of the time. The only reason you have to go over that is if you want better revenants.

    EVs are better in general.. but when it comes to chasing down thieves and stealthers Revs are obviously better because it prevents them from stealthing away.. Its also better because u cant really avoid a rev, you have to either kill it or dispel it because it keeps following you.

    Its really how effectively you use the spell. PVM revs arent very usefull, obviously EVs are... PVP you can use either pretty effectively but EVs can be utilized a lot more..

    evs dont work at all with pvp unless your killing reds..

    revs work 100% and they stick on the guy untill he is dead or it is dispeled..
    even if he tries to recall away.

    but i would say 110 is the most you would need.. id use the extra points for spirit speak.

    Yes. EV's are only a bit smarter than earth elemental's. Revenants now...alot better.

    In my opinion , 110 would be the max. you want to go.. I'd invest the 10 extra skill points into something beneficial.. 110 means you'll fizzle here and there when casting a rev.

    revnants beat the living crap out of rotting corpses 1v1. better then any kind of summon.

    try it some time, quite amazing. you only need 1.

    So your running a mage with eval necro ss and weaving??

    The key question is...are you human??

    If the answer is yes...then what are you going to use the 15points for??

    I mean, as a human you have JOAT 20 in all skills. So you might as well go 120 as your not going to gain anything by not.

    so you want 7 skills at as close to 120?

    Im sorry but i cant calculate a way to make that template viable.

    It would eman dropping med to around 60ish with 105 necro and 100weaving.
