Ive played long enough. Let me keep this short. 1st you had GM armour and weapons and vanquishings. We adapted to best fit and balanced occured. Then you had AOS and items and we adapted to best fit and balance occured. Then we had Soul stones and all that and soup dejour templates and best fit and balanced occured. Now we have imbuing and you know what I LIKE it but what is the point. What ever happens we adapt and balance occurs. To me it seems like more work to end up where... thats right just at the begining of UO with GM everything and a vanquishing. NOTHING CHANGED. Really think about it. We have to do more to get to the same end. BRING IN CREATIVE FUN. MY QUESTION TO YOU ALL what the heck is the difference in game play PVP or PVM in the 4 above points. Balance always occurs. I wondering if the DEVS could do something like this to make imbuing MORE FUN. For Montsers only... could we hammer an imbue stamp that says Creatures Only. They WONT work on PVP. They would have 25 durabilty. They wouldnt have caps. You could chain together 3 hit spells or create crazy maximiums. Something fun. Something in this idea. Maybe just maybe fun stuff. Maybe a stone relic is needed to create a monster bashing weapon and away we can imbue. Think out of the box. Creative. It would be monster specific and short lived. Anyway. Thoughts along those lines, my idea is an example.
