    is it possible to imbue a weapon with 2 slayer properties?

    like a super slayer and a normal slayer, im guessing that imbuing 2 super slayers even if they are of two different varieties would probably just override itself but im not sure if its possible to imbue both a slayer and a super slayer on the same weapon.

    No, code was put in long ago to prevent double slayer properties. It's only possible now on the craftable artifacts like the Silver-Etched mace and that's an undead slayer so you never get a 300% damage weapon out of it as there is no sub-slayer.

    That's got me thinking though. I wonder if by chance, in oversight, you can imbue a super slayer prop onto one that already has two. Over write the Undead only leaving the new one and whatever else is on it. I'm gonna have to try it.

    Well I just made 45 Silver-Etched maces using a Shadow runic and I didn't get a single one with another slayer property on it. I think it's possible with this mace. I know it's possible with the Butcher's War Cleaver but again because Bovine slayer isn't under any super category you cant' get the big damage bonus.

    I have an old (black) bow of "elemental ban". Current Properties are Lizardman Slayer and Elemental Slayer.
    I had a look to see what can be imbued and was rather amazed to see that all slayer or superslayer types would replace the first property (lizardmen slayer). So I could easily make a Demon/Elemetal or Undead/Elemental or even Elemental/Elemental (not sure if this would make sense though).
    Havent decided what to do with it yet though.
    Any suggestions?

    I have more old double slayers but none other with super slayer properties.

    But the question is, will imbuing a slayer property onto a double slayer strip it of both the original properties or only one. The only double slayers I have are too valuable to me to experiment with. That's why I was trying to make another one. Either the RNG got me or they changed the Silver-Etched mace to not make double slayers. I made 45 last night and didn't get one.

    well actually i was wondering if i could imbue 2 slayer properties on a weapon like i imbue a dragon slayer(slayer property) and then imbue a repond slayer(superslayer) on the same weapon,

  7. Although it is possible to imbue items that already posess dual slayer properties, it would not be possible to add two slayers properties onto a newly created weapon. After imbuing the first slayer property, Any further attempts to imbue a slayer property, would simply replace the previous slayer.

    To Ezekiel Zane:
    I will try on one of the double slayer bows with 2 non desirable slayers (lizardmen/snow elem f.e.) and post what happens.

    Actually the question would be: which slayer gets replaced, if you want to imbue an other slayer property onto a double slayer.

    ok, this may answer the question or not:
    I took an old black double slayer bow ("of orc slaying") with

    1. snow elemental slayer
    2. orc slayer
    (they have no other mods)

    PoFed it to max (just in case I can make something nice out of this) and tried.

    First when trying any kind of super slayer (in the menu) it always said it would replace the first one (being snow ele).

    I imbued reptile slayer and was then left with a reptile/orc double slayer.

    When I went to the menu again and tried to imbue super slayers and slayers it showed that the first property (being reptile) would be overwritten.

    So actually the experiment is over but I thought I try something funny:

    went out and killed orcs with the bow as it is. My leg archer did about 100 - 120 damage to normal orcs (one hit kill) and around 80 to orc brute (i guess orc slayer should work against brute).

    Then I thought I imbue orc slayer to get an orc/orc slayer and see if it actually counts double (not that orc/orc is useful of course). Was simply curious.

    BUT, once orc slayer was imbued, only one slayer remained on the bow, so orc/orc was not possible.
    After this I imbued repond to see if the second slayer property would somehow reappear but it didnt and so I am left with "a bow of orc slaying" that has only one property: repond.

    2 PoF, 10 white pearls, 10 relics, 10 goblin blood wasted but hey, it was fun :)

    Hope this answers some question though...

    So if you'd gone with Repond slayer in the first place sounds like you would have successfully made a super double slayer.

    Ok, I'm gonna take a chance on one too.

    erm, no, I don´t think so.
    It would always replace the first slayer which means orc slayer would have always stayed (unless you consider this a super slayer cause it has no sub categories).

    You said you ended up with a reptile/orc slayer. Orc is a sub-category of Repond. A Repond/Orc slayer does 3x damage instead of only 2x to orcs.

    I was unable to test anything. I had forgot that me and a buddy had gone through all our old double slayer bows and enhanced them. We broke a lot of them. The only ones we didn't try to enhance were the Dark Father slayer Demon/Ele slayers. I'm not messing that one up.

    Anyway since they were all enhanced, I can't imbue any of them. I even found some double slayer swords but they were all enhanced too. Sucks.

    Ah, of course you are right bout the repond/orc.
    Well I guess I will make my Lizard/Elemental into a demon/elemental. do they still work well against the DF?
    I better make it not too fast so I have enough time to counter blood oath. Would be suicide with a bow like this i guess...

    ok im not really sure what you guys are talking about with the "old weapons with 2 slayer properties, or double slayer w/e that you can no longer get and stuff" cause i dont have one

    anyway im gona try to restate my original question

    i start out with one unenchanted weapon staff for example

    ____ normal staff {unimbued with 0 properties}

    first i imbue it with super slayer repond so i end up with

    ___normal staff {imbued with repond super slayer}

    i then imbue it with {normal slayer dragon}

    now theoretically i should have

    ____staff {repond slayer/dragon slayer}

    ^ is the above possible or will my second slayer imbue overwrite the first one giving me a staff with only

    ____staff {dragon slayer}

    Hi, I am very sorry if we lost the original meaning of your question.
    To answer your question:
    no, the 2nd slayer property will overwrite the first one no matter if it is a superslayer or normal slayer. Same with looted slayer or superslayer weapons.

    Yeah sorry Frostbolt if we derailed your thread a little bit. But Arkanos is correct. Imbuing any slayer onto another will replace it. It's designed that way. There was a time you could craft double slayers and the old Juka bows became double slayers after AoS. They are fairly rare but since they already have two slayer properties on them, we were wondering if imbuing would replace both slayer properties or only one. Turns out it only replaces one so if you have just the right combo and when imbuing it removes the right one, you could make some 3x super slayers.

    I have 3 or 4 dbl slayer bows with various elemental slayers as "2nd" slayer mod. I plan on replacing the 1st salyer mod with Demon, and making a couple of DF busters - adding SSI30 and some mana leech or HDL afterwards. But as with all my Imbue projects, I must wait until i have PoF to burn.

    One notable dbl slayer I have now is a Repond/Demon - Perfect for T-Hunts, and the 2 super slayers are not opposing ones. Also have a DF Buster - demon/earth elemental, but that also has low Dur and as I get to Doom so infrequently, Imbuing it will be a rainy day project. Just be sure not to carry elie/demon bow outside of Doom, for the two are opposing slayer groups - and you in theory would take extra damage form either elemental or demon!

    What I am going to do is go back and add superslayer and or specific slayer mods to make 2 spawn bows: Reptile/dragon and arch/spider. Repond bow does fine with Ratman spawn, especially when paired with a Vermin Slayer talisman.

    You can also imbue the dbl slayer katanas from early Paladin quest and the dbl slayers you used to get from burning DC hammers. Unfortunately the 3 I have the slayer I want to keep in the first(top) slayer position.

    Aye, Just as SA and imbuing hit i found a vendor with 20 old black bows for 1.5mill, i grabbed them and now i have 10 bows that are demon/elemental slayers [doom bows] that can further be imbued with your choice of mods :)

    Perfect find i must say as iv sold 3 already for 10mill, still not looked at the non doom bows to see if imbuing any will work good, like repond orc?
