I finally hit ROT this morning and logged out. I hadn't made any ROT gains today, yet when I logged back in to get my .1 gain, I burned through two daggers without a gain. 50% chance to imbue and nowhere near stat cap.

Is there something else that needs to be done past 70?

It has been my experience that your ROT will begin at 9pm my time on the day you hit 70 skill.. That will be 3.5 hours from the time of this post.. No idea why or if the timing is right, but it's worked for me since ROT first came on..

Log back in, wait five minutes then try again. Same thing happened to me.

Know that you mention it, 9pm is when I usually log in for a couple of hours before bed.. Could be I just never put the two together.. Funny though, 11 Stones full and I never thought of that.. Hope it works.. and let me know please..

Yeah, that must have been it. I burned through 2 daggers ( 20 successful attempts ), didnt get a gain, came here to cry about it, then went back to try again and got it ( time elapsed over 5 minutes since log in ). :D

[edit]: apparently it is counting 5 minutes of game time, not actual. I wonder if that is just for the first gain over 70 or for all of them now.

I find using soulstones seems to reset RoT counter as well and often I have to wait for 5 ( or 8 or 12 minutes) for next skill gain.
